The wait staff was very friendly and helpful We had Urbano Mar Cruz and Ariel as our pool waiters. Steven and Luis were our entertainment staff. They did a wonderful job with the entertainment!!All the staff were amazing and friendly and helpful. We would recommend Secrets!

We love Secrets Resorts!
We loved everything about this resort! Steven and Luis at the pool were fun and energetic! Luis at the preferred club bar was friendly, and his drinks were excellent! The food at Rosewater was delicious. Nedel so friendly and kept the drinks coming! Juan and Daniel set us up with an amazing cabana and cake for my birthday!!

The Secrets and Breathless combination is a winner. We had been to Breathless 3 prior times but this was the first at Secrets. It is a quieter ride than Breathless but sometimes you really need that on trips. The food eas excellent and available everywhere you looked. The drinks were great and the people we met were all fantastic. All of the workers were great in their own right. A few that stuck out to us were Luis in the perfered club. He went above and beyond every night and made the best drinks on either resort without question. If you need a drink or just to chat, he is your main go to. Mar, a waitress by the pool at Secrets was amazing. She was probably the best of any we have met at any Hyatt property. Robert, or as he perfered, Bobby was also fantastic. Could have asked for better.

The resort is excellent. Very clean and well maintained. Food and beverage were top notch with amazing service levels. All restaurants offered amazing food and service! We especially want to thank Mar for her service during the day! Struggle and battle for chairs was real. Some people paid the pool concierge to save chairs. Not fair! We got up at 6:30 a.m. to get chairs at the beach. Our swim out suite was incredible. Truly enjoyed access to our own pool. The beach was not inviting as there was a huge amount of weeds. Although they worked hard to pick up the weeds all day, it made the water dirty and unswimable. The Secrets side is quiet which is what we wanted. The Breathless side is for partying and loud music and people.

A Great Resort, Beautiful Property, and Amazing Staff
Overall, we had a great stay here. The resort is/was well maintained, the staff incredibly helpful, and the food at all the restaurants was great. The French and Mexican restaurants were my personal favorites. The staff is the shining stars of the resort - Mar, Nedel, Cruz, Steven, and Luis were some of our favorites. (Go see Luis in the preferred lounge for cocktails - you won't regret it.) They were so friendly, attentive, and were there to make sure we had a great time every single day. My biggest complaint about the resort is their WiFi/internet. It was often difficult just to try to use the Hyatt Inclusive app to check out restaurant menus, claim a Hibachi reservation, or to order room service. Even the staff struggled and had to move to other areas of the building just to get their POS system to work (ex. when trying to checkout or in the spa). The further you get from the lobby/main building, the worse the connection was. If you plan to try to work while here, or just want stable-ish internet, make sure you ask to stay in building #2 or #3. If you plan to spend your time at the Secrets pool only (where it's MUCH quieter than the other two Breathless pools), you need to be poolside to claim your chairs by 6:15/30am every day. Once you claim your chairs, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the sunrise on the beach. After sunrise, we'd grab breakfast, then come back to the pool and our chairs would still be waiting for us.
