  So-so. They could do better.

  We enjoyed our stay but we were also disappointed several the way the restaurant reservations are structured. We had a birthday and could not get into any of the restaurants. They restaurant we were able to book didn’t have availability until 9:30pm the buffet food was just so-so. The pools were cold and it was hard getting a lounge chair. There was not much nightlife. And most of the activities had a fee. It took an hour to get coffee in the morning. Only one cafe with two baristas.

  Spring Break family trip

  1. The resort needs some renovations. 2. Disappointed with the stars experience as it really doesn’t differentiate from guests who didn’t have the stars package. There was only one bar for stars members to access the premium alcohol and it was at the entrance of the resort which makes 0 sense. Furthermore, you had to make your own drinks with the premium alcohol or pour some in your cup then walk to the nearest bar to make a cocktail. 3. The alcohol at the resort is watered down even when drinking premium alcohol. 4. The food was average. Even when I ate the steak it was always warm and I couldn’t request how I wanted my steak cooked at the buffet 🤷🏿. 5. The rooms were average and the closet doors in our room couldn’t close causing the closet to stay on all night. I like for the room to be completely dark. 6. The water pressure in the shower was so low it was disappointing considering we paid extra for this room. 7. The entertainment was the great each night.

  4/5 – A Good Family Getaway with a Few Areas for Improvement

  We recently stayed at Planet Hollywood Cancun and had a lovely holiday overall. While it’s advertised as a 5-star resort, we’d say it feels more like a solid 4-star when compared to other 5-star hotels we’ve visited. The resort is only around five years old, but parts of it already feel a little dated. When we arrived, our initial room had a noticeable damp smell, but to their credit, the staff moved us to a different room the next day which was much better. The housekeeping team was fantastic throughout our stay — the room was always spotless, and they did a great job keeping everything tidy and fresh. Speaking of the staff — they were a real highlight of our stay. Friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, they made us feel really welcome throughout the trip. The food was consistently good with plenty of variety, especially at the buffet, which actually exceeded our expectations. The à la carte restaurants offered a nice change in the evenings, although nothing particularly blew us away. The cocktails were a bit underwhelming — not the best we’ve had in an all-inclusive — and while there is the option to upgrade to premium spirits, we chose not to. The poolside experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Sun loungers were hard to come by unless you were up at the crack of dawn to reserve one, and there’s definitely a lack of parasols, especially around the kids’ pool. That said, the kids club was a big plus — our children had a great time overall, even if they did mention that the staff could be a bit abrupt on occasion. We also booked a couple of excursions through the resort, which were fantastic and definitely a highlight of the trip. In summary, Planet Hollywood Cancun offers a fun and relaxing family holiday with good food, great staff, and plenty to do. There are a few improvements that could make it feel more truly five-star, but we still had a great time and would consider coming back.

  Came back after 4 years to a total dump

  April 14th presently at the hotel room 26202. Visited this place 4 years ago and had an amazing time. Arrived with friends hoping for the same but place is not even close to what it was. Every single aspect of this place went drastically downhill Food , service, drinks all horrible Not enough umbrellas on the beach or at the pool. People frustrated and fight each other for sun-beds with umbrellas Long lines for breakfast. Food quality mediocre at best. Restaurant reservations are nightmare. Nobody bothered to restock in room fridge Food arrives cold most of the time Even famous Guy Fieri burgers that we loved so much 4 yers ago turned in to the worst burger I ever had, dry and tasteless All drinks are water downed If you want normal drinks they offer “star” upgrade for extra $1000 Room smell musty at all the time Water at the beach gave us drinks and came back to take it back from us to give to others who tipped her without even asking if we already had a sip DISGUSTING I HAVE VISITED dozens and dozens resorts but this is the biggest downfall I ever experienced I will never come back and would advise everyone to avoid this his place

  Heaven on the Earth

  Great place to be it is a awesome place to be on earth planet Hollywood has variety of foods services is excellent room service excellent and all the other amenities are according to my choice. The people are very friendly and courteous. Finally, I was in the gym and I met the guy by the name of Benn and he’s awesome. He trained me and then he helped me to do my workout with variations and he motivate me in a way that I will never forget. I wish you good luck and planning to be here again thank you. Sen Ca.
