    Fun and relaxing

    April 2025 Everyone was soooo nice and Albert O was the BEST! So kind and the energy was amazing throughout the entire resort! Definitely recommend for a pool side/ beach front resort. Pool was big and clean with 3 other pools located on the resort. The food was delicious as well and the coffee bar was awesome!!!

    Great time

    The time there was absolutely wonderful everything from the activities to the cleanliness of this grounds to the food! As well as the bar service. Albert O was absolutely the best with us his hospitality and genuine attitude was beyond expectations. I applaud everyone who works there.

    Great experience!

    Such a great family trip! Everything was really lovely and there were so many activities for the whole family. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, particularly Alberto Ortega who went above and beyond to cater for us and helped us feel welcomed. He was also really great with kids and helped my siblings feel included. Emmanuel and Raul were also super friendly and kind they recommended great local spots that I adored! My cleaning lady Claribel was amazing! She kept my room clean every day and was sweet to lend a hand anytime I got locked out of my room haha. She refilled the waters, restocked towels and replaced my sheet everyday.

    Decent time but will likely not return. staff was excellent tho!

    decent experience. not to busy in April so no issues with crowded pool nor challenges reserving a la carte restaurants. service tho is top notch - as long as you show respect and kindness to the team, you’ll get it back! Mauvie and all the ladies and gents in buffet service were excellent. Joel, Nordy, and Ralfina at the bar good were good people too. only gripe would be quality of food. leaves something to be desired. bland and pedestrian at best. some good surprises, but none to write home about. certainly from the buffet. al la cartes- Melt was a disappointment. Mexican was better. Italian will follow the review here, so can’t comment. would we come back? meh- there’s fun and excitement in new experiences and new destinations, so likely not.

    Not Luxury But a Great Getaway If You Have Realistic Expectations

    If you go with realistic expectations, having read the reviews (mine and others) of the pros and cons, you will have a great time. It is not a luxury resort but it is clean, well-staffed and the food was adequate. Going when it is low season and the cost was lower made it a very enjoyable experience. Pros - Great beach to walk on, safe and easy access to restaurants and shops in the town. Food was not gourmet but was plentiful, great fresh bread and there was always something enjoyable. Only managed to get into the Mexican Restaurant a la carte and it was great. Cleanliness - all common areas were very well looked after, gardens are beautiful. Cappucinos and drinks at the bar were well-made. Tipping isn't expected and doesn't seem to matter in terms of service. Very energetic animation team who go out of their way to include the young people. Cons- The many vendors on the beach who just keep at you all the time. The staff was not overly friendly even when you were polite and accomodating. We had a lot of rain and it would have been great to have some activities suitable for everyone when we had to take cover. The room - very sparse, wear and tear and no hot water even after they said it was fixed.
