The team that welcomes you to the Villa Del Palmar resort is amazing! They are super friendly, professional, helpful and just FUN! This is a shout out to all of them! Monse, Bianca, Ana, Mago, Gina and Kaori! We just arrived home but look forward to seeing you again in 2 weeks! Please have those mango margaritas ready! 😁

Everyone was very hospitable. Our family had a great time. The beach sun sets were spectacular. We had a server (Emilroino and his manager Richardo) that took care of us most nights. He made sure all 13 of sat together when he could. Thank you for the great experience.

Casper Family Vacation
The trip was amazing! Villa Del Palmar is an absolutely beautiful resort! Emiliano was a fantastic server who treated us great! The hospitality of all the staff was superior! Excellent overall experience with a beautiful beach! We will definitely be back!

Great activities team!
The activities team are really nice they had us do fun activities. The Zumba class was really fun. They’re really entertaining and bring up the mood. We love when they do the juegos locos it’s so fun and funny, and very entertaining! They bring people together and have us get along.

Great service
I stayed seven nights with my family at Villa del Palmar, and overall, the experience was excellent. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well-maintained, especially considering the resort is more than 40 years old. The quality of the food in the restaurants was impressive, particularly at El Patron and Yashinoki. Breakfast was also excellent. A special shout-out to Eriberto, who provided outstanding service during breakfast, and to Cesar at El Patron. There’s also La Creperie, where you can enjoy a delicious cappuccino or ice cream. The service at the beach was seamless—10/10. However, there are a few cons to note: Check-in: The check-in process was a bit disappointing as the staff member seemed to be having a bad day and did not attend to us well. Thankfully, this seemed to be an exception. Children’s activities: If you have children, while there are some activities available, they fall short compared to other resorts, even within the same chain. Housekeeping: They forgot to clean the room twice, and I had to call for towels at night. Villa membership program: I wanted to learn more about the Villa membership program and attended a presentation at another hotel in the chain (Flamingos). Unfortunately, this was a mistake. The salespeople kept us there for almost all day, were extremely rude, and made it difficult to leave. I strongly advise against falling for this. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel.
- AdvisoryBeginning May 6th the hotel is removing the Villa del Mar section of the hotel to construct new buildings. The construction site will be closed off to minimize noise. Some locations and services of outlets may change from time to time. Scheduled completion is 2027.
