A upscale experience
This was our 3rd different VDP property we stayed at. Each one is similar but unique in their own way. At no time have we ever left disappointed. What differentiates this property from the others is the beach and overall quality of the food. Breakfast was a standard buffet with a Mexican flair. The smoothies and the omelet station had a great selection. We found after a couple of days it was more relaxing to order the room service and chill. Lunch at the beach or pool was ok- food came delivered “warmish” . We found going to the two restaurants that were open provided a higher level of selections. Dinner- for us in order of favorites- Zama- La Casona ( be careful of the upcharges !!!)- Davino. Dinner buffet was only open 2 nights of our 6 night stay. Most of the desserts were average though the tamale chocolate at Zama was outstanding. Adrian at the bar by La Casona was one of the best bartenders I have encountered. We sat there every night before dinner to talk with him and ask him to make us something special with the spirits of choice for that evening. Some hints- if you are receiving resort credits- don't assume it will be on your final bill-you need to tell the front desk that when you check out ( keep reservation doc with the info ) - wines are average unless you upgrade to a bottle (or half bottle)-for a group of 2-3 take a uber back to airport -even though you may have AI please leave tip including maid service. Finally- for the best rate sign up to receive VDP emails. We originally reserved with CostCo- two week before our trip we received a email from VDP for Cyber week special and saved almost $1200- if you call the reservation department they will take off a additional 5-10%

Yes, you can get Starbucks at Villa de Palmar
This is for the Palmita Market and Starbucks Cafe that is attached to the Resort. The coffee is of course outstanding and the bakery items they offer are just delicious. In particular we enjoyed very flaky butter croissants every morning. Their red berry muffins were also delicious. The people who work there went out of their way to provide us with exactly what we wanted. We brought in a ceramic espresso cup that my husband prefers to have his coffee in and it has to be heated up before the double espresso is introduced. After the first morning they got it and always made it perfectly. The sandwiches they offer are really good too. I really enjoyed chatting with Susana, Luis, Maria, Heyely, Janet, Ulises, and Kore. They were quite delightful and very kind, bringing us our meals to the outside patio if I didn’t go back in quickly enough to pick them up. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Great customer service makes great experience
We had two fantastic weeks celebrating our wedding anniversary. What made our stay even more enjoyable is a tremendous help of the concierge team members Vanessa & Deysi. We booked two weeks, but one day in between was unavailable. They both worked very hard to make this day available to us. As a result, we stayed in the same room instead of having to move somewhere else for one day. We’re planning to return in February and looking forward to seeing both Deysi & Vanessa again. Thanks again, Leon & Faye

What an unbelievable time!
My wife and I traveled to Villa Del Palmar Cancun with our friends. They’d been before, we hadn’t. I wasn’t even sure I was a resort guy. After our exceptional visit, that’s changed. The price was very reasonable for the treatment we received and we have never been so pampered. The food was unbelievable, the room amazing and the employees were all incredible - especially the pool staff. They treated us like royalty but also as family. We will be returning to Villa Del Palmar Cancun for many years to come!

Great service!
We had a really fantastic time at the Villa Del Palmar Cancun. Alejandro & Candelario took incredible care of us at the elite pool which was right up to the beautiful white sand beach with turquoise waters. I really can't praise them enough. By lunch the first day they knew who everyone was & we were a group of 8. We had our same cabana everyday & impeccable service. In fact the staff was fantastic everywhere we went in resort. Our dinners were delicious! We dined in a different resort restaurant every night. I would have liked a little more variety at lunch & better desserts after dinner, but that is definitely not a complaint. After dinner Miguel & the other bartenders took great care of us in the sports bar. It was everything we hoped out vacation would be with the only caveat being that the HVAC was having issues in our building. It was a little too warm in our room, but I mean what can you do? We got away from a cold & rainy hometown!
