  Please put ALOT of consideration into your decision to come here and pay your hard earned money!!!!!

  I'm here right now and had to take this time to write something. This is not a 4 star hotel, the pics of the hotel and amenities are a lie. It's old and decrepit. We've had to be moved, when we arrived we were given a room on the first floor without a locking balcony and they said "that's fine". Absolutely not, me and my children are in the room with no security in a foreign country. We were moved to the second floor, but there's no elevator, so had to carry up all luggage. Beautiful beach, though there are people CONSTANTLY harassing trying to sell stuff, like excursions, hair braids, jewelry, pictures with parrots (beware the holders are violent), Marijuana and alot of drugs! When you fan one off there's another behind. And if you don't oblige, they dirty talk you in Spanish! The good is low grade and there are CATS all over (some look sick), plus there are only 3 restaurants and 1 snack bar and 3 bars. The beach is absolutely beautiful, but get there early the loungers get reserved by 8 am! Also there are not alot of towels, they open at 8, so we line up for 8 and they don't get there until 8:30 or 9 and have an attitudewhen they do! Lots of crabs walking all over in the crevasse. I've tried to be nice to staff, though everyone here looks like there just here to work, no extras (including being friendly, especially the people that get you to play games, very mean snd seemingly annoyed). We played a game this morning reluctantly, based on how well we're asked and as we were playing, they started trying to embrace my 10 year old son on the mic, it was suppose to be a game. Just not friendly and we paid to be here. Honestly make sure you get a great deal ($$$ wise) to actually come to this resort, cause I feel ripped off BIG time!

  Our experience

  We enjoyed our vacation, as we always enjoy every vacation we go on.. we had a Superior Ocean front room... Pro's .. the room was clean and comfortable, nice size. Our maids always did a good job. We had a vent come out of ceiling went to front desk to let them know, it was fixed when we returned to our room. Problem resolved quickly. The landscaping around resort was beautiful, pools were nice. One better then other. The food in buffet was satisfactory and 1 of the servers stood out to us.. always smiling and greeting us when she saw us.. I wish I would of got her name she stood out to me as the first staff member to smile at me.. she had braces on teeth again I wish I knew her name.. lovely young lady ! The beach is beautiful.. loved that i had access to self serve Cappuccino , my main beverage on vacations. The Friday dinner for extra money was nice, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The con's The bathrooms around the resort!!! Not kept clean!! Every resort we have been to have cleaning attendants taking care of the bathrooms, Not this one.. I have never seen such unkept bathrooms at a resort. They were horrible. Just nasty!! My biggest complaint about this resort is the bathrooms. Garbage over flowing , toilets not kept clean throughout the day.. just nasty.. most Staff not that friendly.. some smile.. most you have to smile and greet them before they will smile and return greeting. Other resorts the staff are nicer... Air didn't work in our room but it was good temperature with fan on we didn't mind.. we don't like our room really cold anyway.. towels saving lounge chairs!! The worst we have seen at a resort!!! People save at both the beach and pool... we seen people that would save the loungers at beach while we sat on our patio early in morning.. those same people also saved at the pool .. it was absolutely ridiculous.. we watched loungers on the beach be saved all day and nobody use them.. we watched loungers saved at pool all day with nobody using them!! It was terrible.. we wanted a pool day.. we had to set a 6am alarm on our vacation to get up run down and get loungers.. I wasn't ready to be sitting pool side from 6:30 in morning but we did.. difference is we stayed at our loungers. I think your rule of not saving, needs to be enforced as the entitled, selfish guests are of abundance at the resort.. some back ground music around the pool would be a nice touch.. The price we paid was very good and we will likely return to this resort and hopefully the bathrooms will have more attention given to them by then

  Stay away!

  This place is disgusting. Do not stay here. Air conditioning is not working at the whole building. That’s the excuse we were told, yet there are many separate buildings. Mini fridge doesn’t work. Hair dryer broken. Room dirty. Missing sheets, blankets and pillows for 1 bed, no matter how much we ask, they bring nothing. Ask for things to be resolved and they keep saying someone will come, but no one does. They gave me key for second room, room has big hole in wall. It was dirty and clearly not in use. Garbage on floor, no beds made. Staff are ignorant. Pool is dirty and crumbling. Food is terrible. Flies all over the food. Terrible service in restaurants. Night snack bar is a sandwich and soup. Lame! West Jet should never send anyone here

  Wondering resort

  Beautiful place, food and drinks are amazing. But I'm not impressed with the spa. We booked a couples massage on the beach for three only to be told when we got there they couldn't do us cause she was alone, so rebooked at the spa for the next day for four pm. We get there and are told, it would be another ten minutes. No problem, as we were there ten minutes early. But come 4:25 and we were still waiting. Had to leave as we had other things to do. Disappointed we didn't get our massages. I guess the concept of making an appointment is not familiar to some people.

  Small and Family like Resort!

  Yohan, Anderson, and the entertainment crew made this experience one we will never forget! The staff made the aqua fit, poolside games, and evening entertainment so much fun! The resort is small but had all the amenities within walking distance. There was plenty of food, drinks and fun! We danced most of the nights away and enjoyed the beautiful turquoise beaches during the day! What a blast and great memories for our family. Special thanks to Yohan for his smile, charisma and welcoming personality that made everyone feel like family! That guy certainly deserves a promotion!
