The all-inclusive program includes the following amenities:
• All meals, snacks and beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails. Additionally, private in-room minibars are restocked daily with beers, soft drinks and water.
• Daily activities include beach volleyball, table tennis, water polo, aquarobics, Beach Olympics, bike tours and darts. Each day, guests enjoy one hour’s free use of bikes, tennis courts (day and night) and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing equipment. Each guest may also take a one-hour SCUBA lesson in the main pool.
• During the day take part on our learning focused activities for adults and children, get in step with a Merengue lesson, sit in on a cooking or cocktail class, or brush up your language skills with a Spanish lesson. In the evening, there are live shows and musical performances.
• Chaise lounge and towel service are provided at the pool and beach

My stay at Gran Ventana Resort was absolutely amazing, especially thanks to the incredible nightly activities! Two standout events were the White Party and the Beach Party. Both were filled with energy, great music, and unforgettable fun—perfect for enjoying with friends or as a couple. The Beach Party was magical: the sound of the waves in the background, live music, and the feel of the sand under your feet created a truly unique atmosphere. The decorations and attention to detail made the experience even more special. A special shout-out to Henry from the Entertainment Team! His energy, charisma, and contagious enthusiasm made every activity a success. He kept everyone engaged and ensured the parties were even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to relax during the day and experience fun-filled nights, Gran Ventana Resort in Puerto Plata is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come back!

Super fun trip!
I recently stayed at the Gran Ventana Resort in Puerto Plata and had an amazing experience! The resort truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious with a variety of options, and the beach was absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that guests felt welcomed and cared for. A special shout-out to Henry from the Entertainment Team, who went above and beyond to make the experience fun and memorable. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and he made every activity so enjoyable! If you’re looking for a getaway where excellent service and a vibrant atmosphere come together, Gran Ventana Resort is the place to go. I can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend!

Cranberry Madness
Just return from an amazing vacation at the VH Gran. It was our second time there and twice as good as the first . Raymond at the front desk checked us in promptly, what a gentleman. Carlos and his team took care of our luggage and within a few minutes we were enjoying our vacation. The two main reasons that impacted my decision to return are the staff and the food. 99 % of the staff remembered us. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. Too many to list all their names but every single individual from the front desk to the buffet to the entertainment grew to housekeeping to the grounds keepers were all amazing. The grounds are kept impeccable. The food is sooooooo good. Always something different. Looked forward everyday to the soups and those chicken wings at the Ocean Gill. The a la carte restaurants were also very good, we enjoyed all three. The beach is great for swimming and walking. Very well maintained. Luis and Nicholas always made sure we had a cold drink in our hands Would I return, yes. Would I recommend this resort to my family and friends, yes. Would I bring my own chicken wings, not. Best chickens I ever had, Hats off and a big applause to Oscar. You do an amazing job. Keep up the good work.

DISAPPOINTED when I booked I specifically asked NOT to be put in overflow I arrived today. Guess where I am. Very upset I was here before. Overflow is boring. And it’s across the street from the swim up bar. I don’t think I’ll be back. I don’t come here to sleep

Amazing Experience
Absolutely the best trip we’ve been on. Service was exceptional. Food was amazing with lots of different choices to pick from. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a resort to take your family I would highly suggest going to Gran Ventana. Also, huge shout out to Henry for keeping us entertained and for making our trip so much more enjoyable not only for the adults but for the kids as well!
