THE BEST all inclusive adult resort in Mexico!
The VIM is the BEST all inclusive adult resort in Mexico! The rooms are very clean and nicely sized. The food at all of the restaurants is so delicious with a nice variety on each menu! The grounds are impeccably maintained throughout the resort! The nightly entertainment is very good! Everything from Don Miguels, sport bar, cigar bar, and the courtyard music is excellent! A special “thank you” to the GO TEAM (Lorenzo, Carlos, Pablo, Dianna, Isabella, Daniel and Joanna) who go above and beyond to make sure there are plenty of activities throughout the day!! The beautiful beach has plenty of palapas and nicely maintained! From the time you arrive until its time to leave each guest is treated with kindness and compassion. Of course we can’t forget Dora who stops by each day to make sure the guests have everything they need. A huge “thank you” to the entire staff at the Valentin Imperial for making everyone feel so special. This was my 6th visit and I plan on returning very soon!

I would visit this resort again!
The staff, accommodations (stayed in building 7 Golden Suite) and food were exceptional! Resort is beautiful! Beach is accessible but can be windy and rough. First stay here and only dissapointments were the long waits for dinner (45mins - 1hour) we would go get a drink while we waited, and not finding any place to sit/lay at either of the 2 pools during our 8 day stay when we got to the pool at 9am. The same guests would get up and save a free lounger(s) everyday at the best spots. These were usually guests, when asked, that had multiple stays at the resort. You can pay an extra 85$ USD per day per guest and get a reserved bed, "if available," at the pool OR beach. Spending time at the pool and beach are always a priority on our beach vacays. We asked and during our visit the resort was at 90% capacity.

Love VIRM!
Amazing resort! Amazing staff who are very attentive and made sure we were taken care of from check in to check out. Grounds are beautiful, lots of food choices, lots of activity options and/or space to relax. This was our third visit and we’ll definitely be back!

Nice hotel, but at capacity has minor issues
We have just completed our stay at VIM, and had a lovely stay. The positives are the friendly staff, very comfy bed/pillows and great size room. We felt that they need more staff to be able to cater with the amount of guests here. Maybe every restaurant should be open when at capacity, rather than 1 being closed every night.. But I guess that is staffing issues too. Service was hit and miss.. In the buffet Le Marche for breakfast and lunch, drinks /refill service was slow. The A la carte restaurants have better service, BUT if you arent queuing at the door for opening at 6pm, you go on a wait list with a buzzer which means you could be seated at 9pm..Not a problem for some, but we were travelling with older friends who wanted to be heading back to their rooms at that time! We weren't lucky enough to get into the hibatchi, which we tried for on 3 occasions, by queuing at our concierge at 930am. Food was of good standard and some staff go above and beyond in serving you.. Also the craziness of towels on beds at the pool was ridiculous.. If you weren't there by 8am, you had little chance of finding a bed and there are 100s!! Our special thanks to Virginia at the silver pool, Jhoana in Don Miguel's and then Wilberth, Alan and Uriel too. There are golf carts to get you around the resort, but if you have mobility issues, where you are dropped for some restaurants is still a fair walk away.. We noticed there were no benches/chairs for resting. Would we return... Possibly, if the price is right and if the hotel wasn't at capacity

A very nice week.
The absolute best thing about our stay at the Valentine was the staff. The food was great and with all the places to choose from we didn't get bored with the choices. Our room was spacious. The only bad thing we could say is that there was a musty smell to the AC. On the day we had the coolest temp left the doors open and it was perfect. The pool was fun. The drinks were tasty and the staff at the swim up bars were knowledgeable. The beach was ideal and the staff would remove the seaweed to make the waves accessible.
