  This Resort Feels Like a Dream

  I came here for a week with my partner, and paradise is an understatement! The food is all fresh and incredible, the service is top notch, and there is so much to do! The Go Team has tons of activities for guests every day, and they are so friendly and energetic. We had so much fun playing pool volleyball with Isabel and Israel, and they kept it light and fun! Pablo, Carlos, Diana, and the rest of the entertainment staff made our stay so fun! The pool is always sparkling clean, and the landscaping took my breath away. I don't know how they manage to keep everything so pristine at all times, but they really do! Dora is so amazing, and she made us feel right at home, like we never wanted to leave! We loved the all inclusive atmosphere because we got to try everything! The shows each night are fantastic, and the band is always rocking! I love the attention to detail in absolutely everything here, and I felt like royalty every day! This is the kind of place where you can stay busy and active, or just relax and recharge. There is a party pool and a quiet pool, as well as beach access with water so clear I couldn't believe it was real. They have beach side cabanas for guests, and they even will bring you drinks and food by the beach or pool. Our room was so comfortable and beautiful, and the housekeeping staff work so hard to make everything perfect! We loved visiting the coffee shop, sometimes twice a day. We did one of their new Gastronomic Dining Experiences in the French restaurant, and it was so romantic and delicious. It was five beautiful courses, with two of them prepared in front of us in our private dining room. It was truly and unforgettable experience! We loved using Amstar for our transportation to and from the resort and the airport, as they made it simple and efficient. They have excursions you can go on, but we opted to stay on the property for the whole week and we were never bored. I cannot recommend the Valentin strongly enough, and I can't wait to come back with friends and family!

  Home away from home! Book this place ASAP!

  My home away from home! This is my fourth visit to Valentin Imperial and it continues to get better each time. I do not want to go anywhere else! This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff, the hospitality, the food, the atmosphere, the amenities, and everything in between is top notch! The Valentin has stepped up their food game (compliments to the chefs) and we had incredibly delicious food at every meal. Highly recommended trying out the gastronomy experiences (the French one was superb for my birthday). Always make sure to stop by the churro cart (best churros EVER). Big shout out to the GO Team (Israel, Isabel, Pablo, Diana, Joana, and Carlos) for being awesome and keeping everyone entertained! The night performances were fantastic and highly enjoyable. And lastly a huge shoutout to Dora, she always makes sure that our stay is enjoyable/perfecto and it’s always good to see my friend! Thank you Valentin for an incredible vacation! See you again next year!

  Anniversary Trip

  Everyone was beyond accommodating! Angel the bartender at the pool bar was AMAZING. The pool had fun activities and all the restaurants were great. Room service was fast and maid service was exceptional. They were so fast and efficient we never even knew they were there, it was like magic.

  Another wonderful return trip!!!

  First let me say that once again it was a lovely relaxing vacation. This was my 9th return trip to Valentin Imperial Maya. I have to say thank you to ALL the Valentin Team! They made my stay a wonderful one! I stayed this trip in building #8 ( located at the golden lazy river pool) ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! I stayed in a Golden Superior Room, located on the top (3rd) floor....Gorgeous views and QUIET!!!! Room, services, amenities, activities, food and ALL staff were (as always) 10 out of 10!! And I couldn't have asked for better warm sunny weather!!! My building concierge, Paola, was professional, informative, kind, friendly, helpful and a great pleasure to get to know! Tania, the concierge at the Prive' Lounge was also a pleasure to meet and she also shared the same qualities as Paola!! THANK YOU LADIES!!!!!! Food services Supervisor Yolanda, was so kind to remember me, as always and greeted me with a warm welcome back! As well, the other food services staff like Noemi, Samuel, Snr. Angel.....so wonderful to catch up with them all! So great to see all of these long time staff members which is a testament to the resort that they retain staff for years! Bartender, Veronica always a pleasure to see and catch up with!! And the Golden pool bar staff were all so attentive, efficient, kind and friendly. They also have food services directly at this pool area......you don't even have to leave your seat for lunch if you choose! I was really surprised to see the beautiful recent renovations of Le Marche Restaurant.....great job!! Just beautiful, warm and inviting for guests. The resort has a great layout and makes it easy to navigate. Safe, easy for walking if you wish or they have courtesy golf cart transportation around the facility all times of the day to get you "to and from" The only unfortunate disappointment was the beach and the sargassum seaweed. Since my past visit 1 yr ago, it seems to be far more frequently reaching the shores and extremely challenging for the resort to manage.....I see them making their best efforts to do their best to try and resolve daily. I understand this is an ongoing challenge and circumstances beyond the control of the resort management & staff. So sad this environmental situation for all, both for locals and visitors. I understand this is not isolated to this resort but many in the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen areas. Having said this, I still visited the beach area a few times and did enjoy the sun, breezes and sounds of the water. I did not find any smell issues. There are beach bars in locations and a quiet beach area with a bar. Still a beautiful view!!! In my opinion, it seemed to create a situation that more people are visiting the various pool areas and makes it harder to find a chair.....Or this may be due to the resort being at full or near full capacity. Tough situation to resolve....not sure if more chairs are a solution at the various pool areas or restrictions and monitoring of unused chairs with towels on them will assist this situation. I'm sure its not easy to resolve to work for all pool visitors which is often the case at many other resorts these days! None the less, this will not deter me from visiting again! I have already started looking into my next return visit! This resort is always consistent on all levels and such is the reason for so many repeat visitors like myself. Looking forward to my next visit in the very near future. THANK YOU again to all Valentin Team!!!!

  The Valentin is still top notch

  Having been to the VIM many times, I was anxious to see if it still lived up to years past. I believe it did. The grounds are immaculate, rooms clean (jr. suite), food delicious. And the staff are still some of the friendliest ppl I’ve met. Angel and Joel at the pool bar, Veronica (Vero) at La Marche bar, Sonja at mar tierra bar at lunch, and the crew at Don Miguel’s - Osmar, Alan, Joslyn, Uriel are top notch. This year’s Go Team is one of the best in years. Our fav restaurants are the Italian and Indonesian. The ribs at both places are so good and tender. Blanca was our waitress at the Italian twice and she was amazing. Very fun and friendly. I will say a few things could have been a bit better. The elevator in our building was broken more than it worked. Both times we ate at mar tierra for dinner the length of time we sat was quite a lot. 2 hours both times. Food was great but it took longer. Not sure why. And while still great, morning wait staff didn’t come around frequently to fill up coffee/water. None of this is a deal breaker nor does it lower my rating. But nothing is perfect and it should be noted. We did not notice noise from the new buildings going up. All in all. Great trip at a great resort.
