TRS Coral was without a doubt the best place my fiancé and I have ever stayed. Every single part of staying here was top notch. I have done an all-inclusive once before and it does not even come close to comparing to the experience I had here. The rooms themselves were immaculate - we ended up upgrading to the swim-up room because we were celebrating our engagement and wanted to splurge a bit, and we are so glad we did. Every suite gets a butler assigned to it. We were BLESSED to have Hector and Naysin as our butlers, they were the best! They handled all of our dinner reservations, got us booked for hydrotherapy at the spa, and even arranged for a gorgeous surprise with champagne and roses to celebrate our anniversary. They were kind, thoughtful, and managed every request with ease. Thank you Hector and Naysin! We spent so much time in our private pool area, and Ulysses and Jaime made sure we were never thirsty :) They delivered us margaritas whenever we needed a refill. The resort is HUGE so the best way to get around is golf carts. We met Jose Antonio during one of our golf cart rides, and he became an instant friend of ours! He was so happy and kind, we loved spending time with him. Raymundo and Mariano were our FANTASTIC waiters at Chang Thai, which was one of our fav dining experiences by the way. Alex got the chicken wings and chicken pad thai, I got the summer rolls and tofu pad thai - both were excellent. We did a tequila tasting with Miranda as well. She was fun and engaging, and even taught us a new way to take tequila shots (lime first THEN shot - this is news to me!). Overall we had such a great experience here that we now want to get married here. That is how much fun we had. It was just so exquisitely beautiful and everyone who works there is so kind - they make it so incredibly easy to fall in love with TRS. I can't wait to be back, and we can't wait to hopefully tie the knot here soon and bring everyone we love most!

Apr 17, 2025Great service but dissatisfied room cleanliness
Butler service is what made our time here a bit more luxurious and comfy. For a total of 6rooms we had the pleasure of having Karime, Yareni, and Eduardo help us and our family with everything needed in the resort. Only compliments and heart filled appreciation. However, the room service was disappointing. The pillows and accent cushions had a really bad stench. It was like someone rubbed their armpits all over the pillows. The couch had a similar smell. Had to ask to be disinfected. But put towels on the couches just for peace of mind. Towels were also an issue. Sometimes we would get all the towels that was used and other times, had to call and ask for towels. Not consistent. Maybe the resort needs a bigger staff to ensure cleanliness.

Good resort with a great tennis facility
I recently finished 4 day at TRS Coral and wanted to share details on the good / not-so-good for other travelers: Good: 1. Beautiful grounds and nicely appointed guest rooms. 2. Friendly staff and sensitive to concerns about food allergies (we don't have any allergies but they ask every guest at every meal so it seems like they care about this topic). 3. Food is generally high-quality (except for the Asian menu at the Capricho restaurant). 4. Great tennis facility (Rafa Nadal Tennis Center). Not-so-good 1. Not enough umbrellas on the beach. Even at 9a, the beach chairs with umbrellas were already taken with people or stuff left by people to mark their spots. For a supposedly high-end resort, there has to be a better way (more umbrellas or a reservation system of some sort). 2. I did not appreciate the hard upsell on the Premium package and room upgrades at the time of checkin. While we ultimately ended up choosing the Premium package (about a $100/night upgrade) because the package was positioned as almost a 'must have' but it really wasn't worth the extra money. This package gets you tickets to the evening show, premium alcohol in the room, 2 hydrotherapy sessions, advance dinner reservations, and 1 day of a bali bed by the pool. Some of this stuff should be part of the base room features (for example, you should not have to pay extra to make advance dinner reservations). 3. Pool area often quite loud due to musical acts, exercise classes, personal music devices used by other guests etc. Tried to go to beach instead for a quieter space but you could generally not find an umbrella spot until after 3pm. 4. At checkin time, someone thought it was a good idea to run a loud hammer drill near the front desk. This made it quite hard to hear things about the property from the checkin agent. Management should know better to have this work done in the middle of the afternoon.

TRS Coral A La Carte Activities
Miranda is an excellent host! We painted hats, did the stretching class, and went paddle boarding with her. She is a wonderful instructor and we had such a great time during her classes! Highly recommend taking this class with her. Great hotel and wonderful staff!

Lovely stay!
Very great experience! The resort is calm and and clean Beach was Cristal clear. Food was as excepted really good. We loved El Gaucho the Argentine Grill The butler service was insane. Vianey and Eduardo were always there for us. They made our stay memorable. Would go back again for sure.
