Relaxing break from everything.
Just spent a fantastic two weeks at this great resort. Check-in was good, even though we arrived in the evening and the bell boy service was excellent. We were delighted with our room, that was a good size with a great lay out, clean and well lit. It was also well equipped with water , beer and soft drinks in the mini bar fridge. The maid was a smashing lady and keep our room clean and well stocked. First time that the all inclusive wrist band was also the key to the room. What a great idea! It was our 20th wedding anniversary so our room had chocolates and a bottle of the excellent Dominican golden rum. I also celebrated my 60th birthday and was treated to a birthday song and surprise cake at my evening meal that day. Fantastic. Well appreciated. The choice of food and the quality was great. The two restaurants we visited were also excellent. The beach bar was good and the beach its self was wonderful. It was also good to see hotel security on the beach in the day and patrolling at night. For us this is a once every few years trip due to the cost, but we feel we had good value for money. The only caveat was the mosquitos which were a pain. However its a tropical location so it goes with the territory, We ran out of repellent and the resort shop charged a ridiculous price for repellent. So come on Princess Hotels, when you have mosquitos like this, charge a reasonable price for repellent or maybe it should be provided? Don't let this put you off coming here, just bring extra insect repellent, and bite cream and you will be fine. Its worth putting up with for such a nice hotel, and there will still be mosquitos where ever you go on that coast. All in all a great holiday and would recommend. I & H.

Another great vacation!
Recently returned from 11 day stay at Caribe Deluxe Princess. After a frustrating check in experience we finally managed to receive accommodations we requested. We upgraded to Platinum and really enjoyed the restaurant breakfast and lunch experience especially with Cepin,Andreas,Galber,Catherine,Patricio and a few others whose names escape me! This crew goes out of their way to accommodate your every need. Greetings everyday with smiles and great service to follow. Also continuous beach service with beverages! The grounds are beautiful but the beach area could use a little help with more frequent cleanup cups, water bottles etc. and maybe raking occasionally. The beach chairs while very comfy are very dirty looking and could use a little refurbishing. We are returning guests and look forward to our next visit! Does not disappoint.

Stay at the Caribe deluxe princess
The overall experience was great. Awesome beaches , noticeably nicer than some of the others resorts. Our room was clean, fridge stocked daily, no complaints. If you travel here keep in mind there are a lot of beach vendors (doing their job) trying to sell items or get you to take pictures with parrots or iguanas. Also beware of salesmen selling time shares. The guys at the sports bar are awesome . Joel and Eduard! Great food also ! The cheese sticks are my favourite.

Great stay at Caribe Deluxe Princess
On our last day of vacation. Had a wonderful stay, rooms are clean, good food. We really enjoyed the sports bar (open 24/7), had great service from Joel and Edward every time we chose to eat at the sports bar. Choose to eat at the sports bar over the buffet most days of our stay. Beach is kept clean. Beach chairs are claimed early - have to pick them around 7am if you want them. Animation team was fun and had activities throughout the day. Had fresh towels and stocked mini fridge every day.

Exceptional staff, efficient service and clean throughout
We had booked the pool view Caribe deluxe for the first week until we upgraded to the royal suite. What a room! Strongly recommend the upgrade! 2 floors, jacuzzi, massive bed! I need to mention a few particular staff that truly made this visit to Dominican that little sweeter! First mention is for Augustin, what a gentleman! Very professional, treated my partner Catherine like a princess all holiday! His service qualities are the best you can expect! The team working with him Cepin and Andreas were also fantastic ambassadors for the hotel. The other person I would like to mention in this review is Ezequiel on the front desk. Very efficient, brilliant English and helped with all our needs and more. Upgrading to platinum and the royal suite was all managed and carried out by Ezequiel with zero complaints and talked us through everything we needed to know. You won't feel lost with him directing you through this big hotel! Thank you guys for making this stay even more enjoyable!
