Enjoy the best fine dining in La Fortuna, Arenal in our incredible restaurant Las Ventanas where the only thing better than the view is the food. Be careful to avoid the window seats if you are afraid of heights because the windows are angled out to allow you to look almost straight down a thousand feet to the river below! At night the distant mountains twinkle with the lights of cities thirty miles away. Be sure to dine here at least once during the day and once during the evening to capture the complete experience.

Our gourmet buffet restaurant would be appropriately described as a “Tasting” experience. Here you will sample to your heart’s content a complete salad bar with our signature dressings, hot and cold soups of the day, assorted fresh baked breads, and a selection of hot entrée items of which a few will be specially prepared for you right at the buffet. The menu changes daily and may tend toward Italian one day to Asian the next. Our dessert bar offers small bite size portions to minimize your guilt while sampling them all and, of course, maybe returning for an extra piece of your favorite. Fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee are included. Even though it is a buffet you will have a waiter attending to your every need. We like to refer to it as a “Full Service Gourmet Buffet”.

Fantastic resort. If you can’t have fun here, you can’t have fun anywhere. Friendly people, delicious food, infinite activities, refreshing natural surroundings. An oasis in the jungle. A safe haven from the hustle and bustle of modern life. BAYRON took great care of us. It was like having our own private valet.

Incredible in every way!!
We were treated like royalty. Byron was the best helper…like a friend! also all of the guides we had on the river (Luis) and the horse back were amazing!! Incredible service 💕 can’t wait to return! Food was delicious. Atmosphere is just mind-blowingly beautiful!

Truly a 5-star experience!
We were so blessed to spend five days and four nights at The Springs. It felt like being in paradise. The grounds are immaculate and the views are unmatched. The personalized tour of the resort when we first arrived was so helpful to get our bearings…because it is a huge resort! But the more than 20 hot springs tucked into the lush landscape made it feel like you were the only ones there! And most of the time, we got the hot springs all to ourselves. It was amazing! Our room was spacious with 12 foot ceilings and plenty of space to move around, even with the pullout bed. My husband especially loved the bathroom with the rain shower! The only bad part is that The Springs has spoiled us for all other resorts moving forward. Not sure we will ever find any place that will match it! The service was truly 5-star. Shout outs to Manuel and Dannia at the reception desk! Dannia was super helpful getting us to La Fortuna for dinner. A HUGE shout out to Esteban Vargas! He was our guide the night we arrived and he helped drive us in the golf cart between buildings many times during our stay. He is studying to be a naturalist and pointed out sloths to us on several occasions. He learned everyone’s name and remembered our excursions for the day, asking us about them. Our oldest was under the weather the first two days—he asked him by name how he was feeling the next time he saw us! Also, we needed distilled water for a CPAP. Esteban personally stopped at the market on his way into work and purchased some for us. Can’t say enough how impressed we were by the personalized service! It was our first time in Costa Rica and we will never forget it!

Amazing stay with our family with Magical views!
We spent 10 days in Costa Rica in 4 hotels and by far the Springs Resort was the BEST! We are so happy we spent 5 days of our stay here. The resort is quiet, perfect for families and the service was top notch. We stayed on the newer side in a family suite and the room had plently of space and a spectacular view of the volcano. Our other family members stayed on the older side in a Vista Grand Room and it was just as nice. We enjoyed all our meals (ate at all the restaurants). The only one we had an issue with our first dinner we decided to eat at the Treetop Grill which wasn't a good idea. Alot of bugs and the service was not as good (the waiter could not understand the order and it took a long time to get our food). But all the other meals we had made up for this experience. We ate lunch at the Racho Club Rio, breakfast and lunch at Tres Casadas, and dinners at Ginger Sushi and Las Ventenas. The managers went out of their way to meet us and offer us the drink and food specials. Service was top notch and the food was very good. We also took a tour of the animal sanctuary which I highly recommend and spent many days in the hot springs after touring in the morning. The kids LOVED the Monkey slide. Overall it was an amazing stay!

Exceptional bar staff!
My husband and I recently stayed at the Spring Resort & Spa which is the sister hotel of Peace Lodge in Poas. Both are beautiful hotels to stay at. The Spring and Resort & Spa has a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano with natural hot springs and beautiful stained glass throughout the public areas. Our room is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. A special mention about the Trout Bar. It offers a spectacular view of sunset and staffed by a friendly bar crew. They were kind to allow us to bring a complimentary bottle of red received for our wedding anniversary to the bar so we can enjoy the sunset with snacks/light meals and good conversations. Special shout-outs to Daniel Villanca, Rafael (cook), Vista Poas, and Dayra Castillo. We appreciate your service and conversation!
