    DO NOT RECCOMEND

Horrible in view that too crowded. Extremely expensive and not able To enjoy the water park due to 5-6 cruises that pay for day passes. You will not be able to get chairs and long lines for bad expensive food. They should have an era only for hotel guests and others for day passes.

Great for kids. Ok for adults.

the Atlantis is a Great hotel for kids. Ok hotel for adults. The property is huge, lots of things to do. I would recommend staying at the Cove. That's the best hotel on the property. The Royal is a bit rundown. Amazing weather. Overall good family experience.

Heavy crowds and money grabs everywhere

We stayed at the Royal tower. They put us in a room different from what we reserved and couldn’t change it because the resort “was full.” It felt like a Seinfeld episode. While we were there during peak season, the crowds are intense. This is because the resort is large as it is, but also because Atlantis allows cruise day trips for cruise ship passengers with all pool and activity areas also open to the day trippers. There are no options for “hotel guest” only. You have to claim a chair long before the pool opens to guarantee a spot for your family. This sums up the money grab experience that is Atlantis. Any time they can take your money, they do. I know it’s a business, but the money grab is extremely noticeable here. We will go elsewhere on our next Bahamas trip.

Bad Service and poor food make for an overall sub par experience

We finally took a family trip to the Atlantis and while the water park was enjoyable, there were a few issues that arose. First, most of the food is subpar and this includes higher end such as Fish. Second, while the rooms had been renovated, there were still touches missing - beat up molding, stained carpet, musty smells at the water station (along with weird tasting water and wet carpets) Third, we had an item stolen during our final hours at the water park. Nothing overly pricey and more of an annoyance. I spent the next hour+ working with the management and security teams to file a report. I asked for compensation and was told that the report would have to conclude before anything could be addressed. That report was supposed to take 10-12 days. After more than 2 weeks, I finally reached out and was then ghosted by their security team when asking for compensation. Another 3 weeks passed and a different team member reached out not being aware of the conversation with similar results. Staying at what are supposed to be higher end resorts should provide a level of customer service that the Atlantis is lacking. The entire issue could have been resolved very easily and within minutes with a simple credit to my account or a couple of drink vouchers. Instead, the management of the Atlantis does not show a care about their clientele and would rather try to push you off hoping that you will go away. While the first two items could have been overlooked and given the property another chance, the 3rd pushed everything over the edge. I can not recommend staying or visiting the Atlantis.

    Great experience all around

Request for room upgraround. ked for our group of 4 rooms. Took some time but checkin took care of us! Can tip staff openly. 2 rooms were ready at noon! And Transit Lounge is a free service that worked out great at check in and out. Lockers are small, backpacks ok, but leave all luggage at checkin with bell service. Food and drinks ok, does the trick, but you can take your own anywhere including casino! Rooms are good, we just used for sleeping. Morning views were amazing. Not all pools are heated. Cove beach is a must visit and hammocks are relaxing. Ramdom Rides are closed on certain days, shorter lines at late afternoons, thats when we join kids for rides. The vendor for coconut n pineapple drinks at the beach cabbage beach also sells activities. We got a good deal and everything went well, did multiple jets ski, banana boat, feeding pigs, snorkle, then boat Captain dropped us off at Town so we did some Market, food, drinks in Town. This was a bonus! Cab rides are standard pricing. Casino was busiest Sat evening, Missed club but friends said they had a good time. Restaurants require reservations. Anthony's or Margaritaville not part of Atlantis, good food, cheaper but lacks the Atlantis Ambiance. Clean waters at beach. Everything is safe, stay in tourist areas.
