We always chose to stay at the Diplomat when we are in FLL. The location is perfect and the accommodations are very nice, especially the balconies and the bathtubs! This visit we stopped by the concierge desk regarding dinner. We both wanted stone crab but Billy’s had no availability. We spoke with Joe and he was able to not only get us reservations but we sat outside in a romantic covered swing table. The food and service there was impeccable. Joe was so unbelievably helpful and kind. We look forward to returning back to the Diplomat!

Great Experience - We love Joe
Joe was the best, sweetest, expert on things to do and places to eat. He really took good care of us. The view from the Playa Restaurant and Tiki Bar was fabulous. Guest are really taken care of and everything we needed was at our disposal. Thank you Joe!

Joe in concierge was amazing!
Joe in concierge is fantastic! We had a last minute situation where we needed some mobility equipment and he made it happen right away! His communication was spot on as well! If you need any assistance during your stay or before you arrive, find Joe!

The hotel staff at this resort are excellent, they really make you feel like a Diplomat visiting from another country. I would like to thank the following staff for their 5-Star Hospitality Service: Bernhard -Front Desk Chevelle -Front Desk Patrick -Bar Manager This Hollywood Beach resort is located with direct access to the beach without having to walk across a busy street to touch the sand. The parking garage bridge is a huge plus making coming and going from the hotel very convenient. The food was excellent as usual, which is what the Curio brand is known to have. Unfortunately, during our stay there was major construction happening in the pool area and I saw work being done to 1 jacuzzi. This hotel needs more than 1 jacuzzi and the pool area is not large enough to hold the amount of guests that can stay at this hotel. The beach area was nice and there were many great hotel employees making sure everyone had their chairs and drinks if needed. I felt very safe with plenty of security checking for wrist bands to make sure the property is only accessible to hotel guests. I will revisit this beach resort when construction is complete to get a full feel of pool next time.
