    Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of the desert, Manta — designed by JSa Arquitectura and Enrique Olvera — was conceived as a black box that focuses on the views from one of the most desirable and secluded playas in Cabo San Lucas. Our name has a thoughtful double meaning: a manta ray which symbolizes the kitchen’s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for canvas, conveys the idea of freedom in artistic expression. As The Cape’s culinary centerpiece, Manta celebrates the Pacific Coast cultures, taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond.

    The hotel’s main pool’s swim-up bar and terrace offer a vibe that’s both lively and laid-back. Dine and indulge in drinks whether enjoyed via the swim-up bar, at a lounge chair or underneath the shade of the restaurant’s covered patio.     Modern Mexican meets traditional American by the beach. Join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner at our beach house-inspired Cabos San Lucas restaurant and patio. Here, you’ll find locally-sourced seafood, contemporary Mexican cuisine and American favorites in a casual, breezy atmosphere overlooking the ocean and picture-perfect views of El Arco. Don’t miss our famous Cape Toast or Sunday brunch with a food station and live music.

  • THE ROOFTOP
    The Rooftop is the quintessential spot for an evening out for two, drinks with friends or a private party. This signature space features open-air bars, al fresco dining, sunken communal seating, a fire pit, and serene water features — emblematic of its Baja locale. Live acoustic music is played to the setting sun, and DJs are on regular rotation at this signature Cabo San Lucas restaurant.

    Hospitality and another level!

    The staff couldn’t be more thoughtful and helpful. I want to point out one of the staff members Louis who manages the pool area. He has been extremely attentive to our needs and making our stay special. It is staff like him that make us want to return. Thank you Louis and staff for making our stay special.

    Beautiful Stay at The Cape

    Beautiful location, food and great service for the entire stay. The rooms and sea view were great. We loved the walk in showers and standing bath. The pool area and swim up bar were great during the day. We also really enjoyed the food options and the morning time workout options on the rooftop.

    Luis is the Master!

    We had a wonderful time at the Cape. I was here for a conference and brought my wife. I was in well-appointed meeting rooms all day, but during breaks was able to roam the property. The food is delicious. The real standout for the trip was the pool service my wife received every day. The staff discreetly noticed that she was with child, and promptly and gratuitously moved her into a private cabana for comfort, taking care of her every need. Luis at the pool made this possible and definitely secured our votes to return to the property again.

    What an awesome spa experience!

    Karina is an exceptional massage therapist and Juanita is a fabulous esthetician! Both ladies provided fantastic pressure, thorough services and made me feel spoiled. I highly recommend both! I can’t wait to come back to The Cape. See you soon soon!

    Great spot.

    Manuel was an excellent server!! Food was great, location/views were amazing!! Went for an anniversary dinner and this was a great find. The music is a little loud but nothing can outdo the view!! And the specialty margaritas were also good.
