Great couples getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Special shout out to Ariel and Sophia who conducted the bike tours. They were entertaining and knowledgeable. Blue Water restaurant was delicious and the chef was extremely personable. The staff at the spa was very attentive and what a wonderful spa it was. My feedback would be to have more shuttles working simultaneously to transport to the beach club. Overall, I would recommend this resort to others.

Go somewhere else
Safe your money. Food was subpar at best. The service was so slow. Just the unwillingness to assist was mind blowing. I’m a big tipper and just didn’t feel compelled to do so here. The inconsistency of things was astonishing. Highly disappointed.

Casa Zamna - excellent location, limited food and beverage options.
I stayed at the beachfront location, Casa Zamna. The location is absolutely incredible on a pristine stretch of beach. The only downside for staying at this location is the limited food options: Rosewater is the only dinner restaurant, and the bars close entirely at 6pm. Breakfast, however, was a highlight at Rosewater. The staff was wonderful: Benito, Alexis, and Carolina really stood out as particularly warm and welcoming. I would recommend staying at the main resort if you are trying to get bang for your buck for food. But, if you are happy to go off-resort for a meal or two, I definitely recommend the beachfront location. Taking a shuttle to the main resort was pretty easy, though it gets crowded after 2pm when guests are trying to get back from the beach. I was interested in checking it out so I went for an afternoon, and found it overwhelming to navigate. I'd probably just stay beachside next time or only go to the main resort for a dinner. I did not get to try any food at the main resort but heard it was better than the beachfront food options. My other minor complaint was the poor wine selection. Would be nice if they offered just one or two premium wines, or at least something local instead of cheap imports. For the price tag it would have been nice to have more options. Room was comfortable, not super private but quiet for sure. Overall, I would go back.

We had a great time at Secrets Tulum!
We had a great time at Secrets Tulum! The hotel is beautiful, we loved the decor and style. The food exceeded expectations (we loved the dinner restaurants and starting our mornings with lattes from the coffee shop) and service was outstanding. Everyone was so kind - the staff was what made the experience. The spa experience was excellent - so beautiful, great service, great massage, and we loved the hydrotherapy. There were some little things that could be improved. The beach club was a bit small and the loungers were not very comfortable. The shuttle service to get there was ok, but at times there were long lines and you'd have to wait for multiple busses. Some of the hotel felt unfinished, but it looked like they were working on that. Overall, for the price we paid, we feel like we got good value for our money and we would go back happily.

Secrets Tulum: A Stunning Stay with Room for Improvement
I recently stayed at Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club, and the experience was by far amazing! The customer service was impeccable, and a huge shoutout to Fernando and Alonso—outstanding concierges who made everything seamless. The VIP services were top-notch, and the bike tour was a highlight. The entertainment was well planned, especially movie night and the barbecue night with live singer and fire performers—absolutely amazing. The room? Impeccable. The design, cleanliness, and architecture—chef’s kiss. I also enjoyed the yoga sessions, which added to the relaxing vibe. Now, for the downside—the food at some restaurants was subpar. I didn’t get to try them all, but the ones I did weren’t great. The barbecue cookout, however, was fantastic! I wish that quality extended to all dining options. Poolside food service was also disappointing—not the service itself, but the food quality was the worst. The biggest letdown, though, was the beach club. When we arrived around 1-2 PM, there were no towels and zero accommodations. The service was the worst. However, the beach itself was perfect—just a shame the service didn’t match. Despite these hiccups, the hotel staff, luxurious rooms, and top-tier experiences like the spa, bike tour, and entertainment made the stay worthwhile. A huge thanks to Fernando and Alonso for their hospitality—they made everything feel effortless. With better food quality at the restaurants and improved beach club service, this resort would be flawless. Would I return? Yes—but hoping for these upgrades!
