Excelente!!!!
Modern, fun, friendly staff and overall exceptional experience. Pristine beach, plenty of pools, tonnes of inclusive activities with well stocked bars and restaurants. Special shoutout to all the staff, who were amazing all week. Loved every minute and would love to come back.

Beautiful Spot
Really great resort, was pretty new so we’re a few hiccups but overall we had a fantastic time!! Food was good. Staff were friendly. Our butler Joel did a great job to make sure we had what we needed. Beach was a little weedy but still a nice beach.

AMAZING
Is was an amazing resort. First time that we tried a secret resorts. We absolutely loved it. No complaint whatsoever. Would come again. The food, the room and the whole experience was amazing. The staff is friendly and happy. But, one recommendation we would offer someone who will go for the preferred club, you have to request the best butler ever. Hedral was the best ever. Always did everything to please all of our needs. He would not go a day without asking us what could he do for us that would enhance our day. We absolutely loved him.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana is Winner!
My wife & I have stayed at MANY Secrets resorts and this one is on par with Royal Beach Punta Cana & Secrets St. James Montego Bay. This resort offers luxury & service at every turn. The resort is laid out in a perfect manor that makes getting around logical & easy to do. The staff goes above and beyond. The food & drinks are top-notch. My wife has MANY food allergies & intolerances and at every meal the chef came out to make sure everything was right & made every accommodation possible.

Believe the 1 and 2 star reviews - a beautiful properly with inexcusable food and service faults
My wife and I booked a long trip, having had great experiences with other hyatt inclusive (zilara) and secrets properties. When we saw a new resort was opening in DR, we were excited and booked almost immediately. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. tl;dr for those who won't want the long version, the staff here appear miserable, the food is inedible, there is no real notion of service, and accountability is lacking. We had such a bad time that we left early, because we'd rather be home than on "vacation" at this properly. Before arrival, there were some warning signs. Normally a week or so before arrival I'll get an email from a hyatt resort, usually offering to sell me room upgrades, airport transfers, spa packages, and other add-ons. I was actually in the market for an upgrade to surprise my wife, however this email never came. I proactively emailed the resort directly, and I received no response. A second email was also ignored. I called the resort and was transferred 3 times before being hung up on. In hindsight because we left early, I'm glad not to have signed up for some expensive room upgrade. Arrival was ordinary, if a little chaotic. The hotel was at high occupancy. We checked in without too much trouble, and despite it being late in the afternoon, our room was not ready yet. Eventually we got to our room, had our bags delivered, and changed into swimwear for a quick dip to really feel like we'd arrived. Well, all I can say is GOOD LUCK getting a towel in the afternoon. All the towel stations close up between 4 and 5pm, so if you've arrived late, been out to an excursions, or otherwise want to take a dip in the late afternoon, you'd better have swiped towels and stashed them in your room. Staff could not have been more rude as we asked for assistance getting towels, which felt great since the check-in staff recommended we hit the pool and start enjoying ourselves. Staff avoided eye contact, rolled their eyes, sucked their teeth, and otherwise made it perfectly clear that our basic poolside request was a personal inconvenience. This was the first of many displays of bad morale, which included staff complaining about guests IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS. One notable scene was 7 staffers crowded around a swim-up bar, complaining to one another, while a single bartender attempted to serve a crowd of guests. Let's talk about food. The food and beverage program is in absolute shambles. We tried the Italian restaurant. Service was rude and neglectful from the start. The carpaccio was clearly sliced many hours earlier (or the day before), put under cling wrap, and stuffed into the fridge. The result was a frosty plate of slices which were stuck to the plate, and which was devoid of all flavor. Next up was the pasta, which was served badly undercooked. My wife ordered a Bolognese which was inexplicably super sugary. I'm talking candy-level sweet. I ordered a pesto with chicken, which was little more than flavorless green oil (no basil/parmesan/garlic/pine nuts/etc). The chicken was bizarre small shredded pieces which resembled trimmings, and were lethally overcooked to boot. We left hungry and headed to the the mexican restaurant. Service was marginally better at first, though we never saw a staffer again after our plates were brought out, which was troublesome because there were errors with our order. We left disappointed again. We tried room service later that night for a snack, as well as for breakfast the next day, and somehow every single item was either missing an element, contained an error, or was missing entirely. It's almost impressive. I'll add that my wife has a serious food intolerance. Given the level of overall neglect and sloppiness among the food and beverage staff, we lost all confidence that we would be served safely. I'll note that the property itself is modern, looks great from its fixtures to its landscaping, and is sensibly designed. Unfortunately that's really where the praise stops. The extraordinary service failures, the inedible food, and the deeply-ingrained bad morale among the staff mean this is a property to avoid at all costs. I hope regional management close this hotel, do a full housecleaning of property management, and retrain or restaff accordingly, because it's really hard to imagine this property turning around without a total service and staff overhaul. If you peruse reviews (as you are presently if you're reading this) you'll see that a lot of these complaints are echoed in the 1-star and 2-star reviews between late 2024 and early 2025. I hoped that criticisms were coming from people with unreasonable expectations, but that is truly not the case at this property. I'd avoid this at all costs for at least a year or two - these are problems which won't be solved overnight.
