Apr 14, 2025Beautiful but Slightly Disappointing
My husband and I just went here for our anniversary trip. Overall we had a wonderful time but there were definitely some areas of disappointment. Food ranges from bad to decent to very good. The OCEANA restaurant was wonderful and delicious! However Portofino and Seaside Grill were disappointing. Bread was stale, pasta was flavorless, calamari wasn't edible. etc. Also if you're wanting GOOD cocktails -- like specialty cocktails -- this is not the spot. Most bartenders did not have the knowledge on how to make cocktails, and if they did -- they weren't very good. Drinks are watered down. We ended up sticking to wine and beer. Overall the staff is extremely accommodating and pleasant. Alejandro helped us get Bali Beds by the pool (HIGHLY RECOMMEND - IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY) and a dinner reservation at a spot that booked up fast. He was wonderful. April was the perfect time of year to go because the weather was fantastic!! Warm enough to walk around in a bikini but cool enough that you're not sweating. Overall we had a wonderful time but we won't go back. However they're about to do an 8-month renovation so a lot of things could change.

Check in/ check out staff working together is nonexistent. Francisco with the check out staff double charged me because he didn’t believe my room was already paid for although I provided my check out slip and showed him on my credit card app. Called me a liar and wouldn’t allow me on my transport to the airport until I allowed him to run my card again after his several demands. Resort is dated. Plan to check out other inclusives.

We have been to this resort 5 times now and it never disappoints! We continue to share this resort with family and friends. As UVC members we love to share this beautiful resort with others! The food, drinks, and entertainment were top notch! Couldn't ask for a better week in paradise with great friends!

Nice voice for a relaxing vacation
The resort was well kept and nicely laid out. Food was good in each of the restaurants we tried. Beach could use more chairs. Not a lot of nightlife or entertainment, so a good pick if you’re looking for a relaxing stay. Use of Dreams next door was a plus, for restaurants and entertainment.

Felix was amazing! 😍
Felix from the entertainment team was awesome! He was so friendly and cheerful doing the bracelet and batting cage! He makes me want to come back! The food here was also spectacular! All restaurants here served amazing food! 😀 Room service was also such a surprising experience! So friendly!
