  Stunning Resort

  This resort is absolutely stunning and the service was excellent! Celeste, Angel and Joel from the pool/beach concierge service and Santiago were incredible they treated us like family! Eduardo our butler went above and beyond and made sure our stay was perfect and we always had everything we needed! Will definitely be going again.

  Secrets Playa Blanca is amazing!

  Secrets Playa Blanca is amazing! If you have a bad time here you’re doing it wrong. This place has something for everyone, from secluded to social with stages in between. We were there for a week and still didn’t experience everything the resort has to offer. The shows and evening entertainment were amazing with lots to choose from depending on what you’re looking for. The rooms and resort were very clean. Special mentions to Demi our concierge. We had a couple requests that were handled immediately. Caesar (not sure on the spelling) at the preferred bar was a very knowledgeable mixologist. The pool entrainment team was awesome. The restaurant staff were very attentive. 10/10.

  Vows renewal

  We had the most AMAZING trip!! From the moment that we arrived , until we left. My husband surprised me with a vows renewal and a beautiful ring. Our Butlers Adrien and Alejandro helped with the details. It was PERFECT!!!! I would highly recommend this resort. It was absolutely stunning and had all of the amenities that you could ask for. The food was delicious and the servers were wonderful. We will definitely visit here again.

  Paradise Granted - a Luxury Vacation to celebrate 40

  Well where do I begin...my friends and I all turned 40 within the last year and wanted a trip to celebrate this milestone. It was no easy feat to nail down a date, behut once we did we landed on this new resort - Secrets Playa Blanca. It did not disapppoint; in fact, it exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful grounds to the over the top kind, courteous and lovely staff (a special shout out to Henry, Alejandro, Erica and more), to the ease and luxury and beauty of the grounds, this was a perfect place to celebrate. We did yoga, water aerobics and exercise, spa treatments, silent disco, dinners, walks on the beach, friendship bracelets, room service, pool side service - guacamole yes please! This was hands down the most relaxing, fun-filled getaway. We planned a trip and we got a vacation that we will never forget. I would definitely recommend and return again!

  A very well designed hotel .

  Good afternoon to the team in charge of reviewing guest feedback, First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the hardworking and dedicated individuals within your restaurant and beach and jungle pool service teams. Their professionalism, cordiality, and well-trained approach to customer service truly enhanced our experience. Your resort’s installations are beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with nature and lush gardens, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and relaxing. The beach was clean and well-maintained. Despite the presence of wind and waves during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the expansive stretch of sand, which allowed for long, peaceful walks by the sea. However, we would like to share some constructive feedback regarding our arrival, departure, and, in particular, the butler service and the “Preferred Club” experience. Unfortunately, these services did not meet the high standards we expected. The butler service was practically nonexistent, seemingly reduced to an app-based interaction rather than offering the personalized, high-quality touch that aligns with the premium standards and pricing associated with your brand. We believe there is an opportunity to elevate these aspects to better reflect the excellence that your resort aims to deliver for those looking forward to a unique experience . Regarding our experience with the Preferred Club and Butler Service, in the hope that it may contribute to enhancing your guest experience. We understand that we arrived during late hours; however, we expected a proper follow-up the next day—a personalized welcome, along with a clear explanation of the installations, amenities, and services available to us as Preferred Club guests. Unfortunately, this did not happen. No one reached out to guide us through the experience. In fact, the butler only approached us in person on the second day, and that was because we specifically sought him out to understand the procedures for reserving a beach Bali bed. Even then, the reservation was made incorrectly, which led us to manage the second reservation on our own. We also faced challenges at check-out. We requested assistance with luggage and a golf cart, both through the butler and again at the front desk when settling our account. Despite these requests, no one arrived, and we ultimately had to carry our luggage to the main entrance ourselves. Additionally, our experience with the Preferred Club Lounge was underwhelming. The offerings were quite limited in terms of coffee, snacks, and meals. For instance, we only discovered by coincidence—after we were already seated for lunch elsewhere—that paella was being served in the lounge. There was no proactive communication, which led to us missing out on this and potentially other offerings. When comparing the Preferred Club Lounge to other parts of the resort, such as Coco Café, the difference was notable. Coco Café provided a far more appealing selection, whereas the Preferred Lounge felt underwhelming, which is surprising given that this section is expected to elevate the guest experience. Furthermore, we observed that the outdoor area surrounding the Preferred Club Pool was often empty and underutilized. This could present an opportunity to enhance the space and offer a more exclusive, inviting environment that aligns with the premium nature of the Preferred Club. We share this feedback with the intention of supporting your continued pursuit of excellence. We trust that these observations will assist in further elevating the Preferred Club experience to better reflect the standards of quality and service your brand represents. All the restaurants are beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed, and well-proportioned. Each menu is carefully curated to align perfectly with the unique theme of its respective restaurant. Our only minor hiccup was with the general seating at the Japanese restaurant, as the guidance provided for menu choices was somewhat lacking. However, our experience at the teppanyaki table was exceptional, the chef’s performance and the attentive service from the waitstaff made it truly enjoyable. Additionally, we believe that terrace seating should be prioritized for Preferred Club members, rather than requiring the purchase of an additional bottle to secure a table. This small change would further enhance the guest experience. Moreover, to streamline the check-in process at the restaurants, we suggest that the hostess not be solely responsible for seating guests, especially during peak hours. The lines can become quite crowded, so having additional support staff or a dedicated team member to assist during high-volume periods could significantly improve the flow and reduce wait times.
