  Great beach, great food and great people working there.

  The attention from the concierge, servers, security and entertainment team were FLAWLESS. The room always clean, the bed, pillows, GREAT. The food was AMAZING. The beach area like no other in Cancun, riviera at any other resort. To be honest those mentioned above will make me want to go back, but we had a pretty bad experience with the reservations team, be sure to have it only with the hotel or directly at the page, because they have awful communication. We expressed our discomfort from the moment we arrived because we had one reservation, then changed to another, told us they will then let the “supervisor” know and funny she was one desk aside, never jumped in. The preffered “side” or “attentions” to us made no difference, pretty expensive and for us didn’t make a difference or a better experience. We would go back just for the people who were so nice, and the beach site, but I think there are much better options for resorts for the price they charge. Like Moxche for example. Big shout out to our beach server Alejandra, you made the whole difference. What a pleasure has been knowing you and Miguel. Abraham and Sebas from the activities you guys are the best! I hope to see you soon, maybe not at the resort but we would definetly see you soon. Thank you!

  I wish I can go back tomorrow!

  What a wonderful and relaxing vacation! From the moment we arrived at the resort, every single employee at Secret's was so genuinely kind. From a simple smile, a question or conversation, each person was so nice. The accommodations were great, especially having the swim out pool. Food choices were more than enough to have something different everyday and delicious. Special mentions to our wonderful concierge, Miguel! Always with a smile and so helpful. Jessica and Miriam at the spa left us feeling so relaxed. Axel, a young man we met at our private dinner was amazing. I really wish I could remember more names, because each individual we encountered deserves recognition for their kindness and hard work.

  Secrets Maroma Beach

  Secrets Maroma is the best all-inclusive I’ve been to! The staff were amazing and the service was top notch. Our concierge Roberto was absolutely amazing. He reached out to us daily to share what was going on the following day to make sure we could plan what we wanted to do accordingly. The beach, pool and activities were amazing. Our favorite staff were, - Torino and Patricio the cat in the preferred lounge. They provided such a welcoming atmosphere and amazing drinks. - Alfredo and Carlos in the preferred beach club. They were so much fun to be around and they kept the mimosas flowing. On the last day they had a special breakfast treat for us and it made our day. - Wilbert in the preferred beach club who provided us amazing service and the best night caps. We are truly so thankful for all the staff and the experience we received. We will definitely be back!

  Everything we could have wanted and more

  Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and we couldn’t have asked for more. We stayed in the Preferred Club (which we hadn’t realised we’d booked!) and actually really valued the quieter beach area, separate restaurant and particularly the quieter bar in the evening. But I think we’d have had a brilliant stay without it too. The stay was made extra special by the staff, who couldn’t have done enough for us. Elam at the beach, Carmen at the Lobby Bar and Carlos in the Preferred Club and Barefoot Grill were particularly great but to be honest there were many more that we could mention too.

  Magical Maroma

  We had a fantastic 10 night stay at Secrets Maroma. We returned after staying 12 years ago and it was as fabulous as we remembered. The staff, service and amenities are second to none. We liked all the restaurants with Himitzu being our favourite and the themed nights were great. We tried our first silent disco which was hilarious and enjoyed evenings in the bar with its relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to Jessica, Neydi, Miguel and Carmen for their friendly chat and keeping the drinks topped up. We spent most days on the gorgeous beach so can’t comment on pool activities and there are plenty of loungers available on the beach, however we were surprised that people were getting up early to reserve beds by the pool and even by 8.30am most were gone. The spa was nice and our couples massage was divine. We took a trip into playa del carmen one evening and that was fun, we also did the catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres (booked at the hotel) and this was such a good day out. One of the highlights was being greeted every morning by our fabulous concierge Alfonso with his smile and singing. Alfonso you made our day. We couldn’t find fault with anything, the food, drinks, activities and cleanliness of the resort, thank you to Angel and Efrain for their outstanding housekeeping. What really stands out are the staff, who can’t do enough for you and go out of their way to make your holiday special. A big thank you and we won’t wait another 12 years to return.
