Great resort. Good vibes all around. Food was pretty good, service was very good. Beautiful ocean view, would consider doing swim up next time. Definitely would go back. Rooms were finished off well and beds were comfy. Definitely would recommend for romantic getaway.

Staff was amazing.. food was great but music and the smoking was very annoying especially in the no smoking areas.. concierge only interested in upgrade not helpful with Hyatt points. Waiters, waitresses were very attentive. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly

A lot of mixed reviews before going. This was our first Secrets but we were impressed. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was good for resort food. Everyone in the resort was super nice! Made lots of new friends! Service by the pool was always on point! Yes, tiles are missing in the pool but who cares. We had a fantastic stay and we want to go back! Carlos was our concierge and he was wonderful! He recommended food out side of the resort that was FANTASTIC! I didn’t catch the name of the guy who waited on us for breakfast in the Tamarindo but was very tall but always so nice to us and always made sure we had juice and coffee! The woman who teaches archery was fantastic! She gave excellent advice and was fun to talk to! She also did classes for dancing in the afternoon. I wish I remembered her name!

The staff made my vacation...
Overall great experience at Secrets Huatulco! We've been to another secrets in PV and it was almost exactly the same. Huatulco is definitely a more beautiful place with a lot less tourists. We went with two other couples and the food and drinks were fantastic. If you go make sure to find Felipe at CinCin and give him a hug for me! Highly recommend.

Beautiful resort, lovely staff—can't wait to go back!
The swim-out pool room alone deserves 10 stars (although I'd recommend painting the patio tiles a lighter colour—so hot haha). Had a really lovely week at the resort; it’s a gorgeous location and the bay is to die for. Drink service was super consistent, whether by the pool, at the bars, or in the lobby. The evening events were a nice surprise; great variety. The Sensations show premiere was fabulous as well. The dance squad crushed it!! The entertainment team deserves a special shout-out because they're truly operating on a whole different level. Alejandro, Amir, Roberto, and the whole crew are absolute machines and so sweet. They’re out there morning till night, running activities all over the resort, instructing, and participating. I didn’t partake in many of the daytime activities (rookie mistake), but even just chatting with them every day was delightful. And I'm not sure who was DJ-ing at the pool, but we thought the music was super fun, and a little hilarious at times. Yeah, the decor might not be for everyone, but I’d argue grabbing a drink from the Sky Bar and looking out onto the water is enough to remedy that issue. CinCin, Spice, and Tamarindo were definite favourites—great food and service. Joaquin at Spice and Guadalupe at Tamarindo were especially lovely. Luc (housekeeping) and Katy (turn-down service) were also wonderful and kept our rooms in great shape. Bring shoes to the beach, the sand is REALLY HOT.
