    Begin the morning with a cup of local brew at a sunny indoor/outdoor cafe. Serving premium coffee and snacks in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, the Coco Café is a favorite among guests.  Late-night bites include sandwiches, fruits, yogurt and pastries.

    Great holiday

    So we visited Secrets Cap Cana in early February for 2 weeks. For a starters the whole resort was beautiful, modern decor and well maintained. We sampled all the restaurants and loved the menu choices, and everything we ate was very good, we especially loved oceana for the seafood. The staff make this place amazing, very attentive to your every need, and our concierge was especially helpful. The choice of drinks was plentiful and we had many a good night sat at the lobby bar. Our only criticism was they seem to have lots of conferences going on, which in general didn’t interfere at all with our holiday, until the last few days of our trip, were there seemed to be an extremely large conference where two restaurants were closed on 2 different evenings, and our meals although very good, the service seemed very rushed between courses to other nights, which may have been a staffing issue as on those nights, the hotel held 2 evenings in the buffet restaurant for the conference guests. This also resulted in the lobby bar being to busy later in the evenings. Would we return, yes we would, just wouldn’t want our experience of the last few nights to last the whole of our holiday

    Johnstone Dealer Trip

    This was our second trip to Secrets Cap Cana with the Johnstone Supply Dealers. The resort is very clean and grounds are well kept. Staff were very friendly. All of our meals were great, from the buffet to the evening dinning. We can't wait to return.

    Relaxing, personal and fun

    Arrival. When we arrived we felt slightly rushed to book in. Would be great if you provided guests with a warm towel. Only a non alcoholic drink was offered, a non-alcoholic option would have been great too. Our room 3104, swim up and (we upgraded to preferred a couple of days in). The room was spacious and clean. The maid always made sure our towels were refreshed. The swim up pool was cleaned while we were there after a rainy night. Although there are people passing by it felt private. The pool didn’t get warm but we didn’t mind as we got very hot and it was nice to cool down in and watch each other gasp. Restaurants Himitsu Our favourite restaurant. Served by Miguel and Carlos the manager and Carlos the not-manager! All amazing members of staff. The restaurant is so busy but the food is fresh and the service is 5*. El Patio Food was not authentically Mexican and not flavourful. The manager hovered over the staff and they seemed unhappy and I views them to be being micromanaged. Barefoot grill Food was greasy with no flavour, my order was incorrect and we had to wait to go in. Rose water Staff were attentive. The food was *chefs kiss*. I ate the salmon one day and teriyaki chicken. The brownie there was 10/10. Market cafe All good food here! Lots of options! Staff couldn’t do more for you! Would have eaten here more if I’d stayed longer. Beach White sands. Preferred side had more than enough sun beds and umbrellas . Good drink options even non-alcoholic cocktails were lovely. Minimal seaweed, it was cleared numerous times a day. Main pool When we arrived the main pool was not loud (Monday) but by Thursday it was quite rowdy with Americans shouting “heck yeah!” Every time a point was made during volleyball. The music was slightly repetitive. Apart from that the service around the pool was 5* all the staff who serve around ensure you are very well hydrated!! Preferred pool The pool has a relaxing atmosphere and a jacuzzi which we used when it rained which felt tucked. Lilliin from the preferred pool made me a crepe and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Staff members. Jeison Calderon Jeison was our concierge. On arrival Jeison met us with a warm, confident and calming smile. When first accompanying us to our room he asked us if we wanted help to navigate our rooms. This was ideal as we were tired so gave us the opportunity to be left to be our tired grouchy selves (sorry Jeison). Jeison gave us his WhatsApp and let us know not to hesitate to contact him. Jeison booked us a table at Himitsu in which we were cooked for. This was such a treat. We really felt looked after. Jeison would always text with the days activities in a prompt and informative manner. When seeing Jeison around the resort he would always smile, wave and take time to ask about our wellbeing and if there was anything he could do. Our patio door was jammed open and Jeison promptly arranged maintenance to fix the door. Jeison has great interpersonal skills which allowed us to feel comfortable around him and unwind further into our holiday. Jeison would contact us and ask us where we were to find us and talk to us about our stay and wanted frequent feedback. This allowed free flow and made it easier for small things to be resolved. Jeison is a very special member of staff and we enjoyed his company and service, thank you Jeison. Henry and Natan (mixologists) Henry and Natan are a joy to watch make cocktails and strive to create a fun atmosphere with a spark. My husband loves to drink an old fashioned and he returned every night to order one. For myself I have never had a nicer non alcoholic cocktail, they blew me away. I was never sure of what to order so I left the making to mostly Henry (thanks for the pineapple). I was never disappointed. Great team. Henry was also informative about cocktail making and passionate about his job, this was very apparent in the way that he spoke. Both very professional and personable. Thank you both. Rhianna (entertainment). Rhianna is very obviously passionate about her role and I enjoyed her singing about the daily entertainment and things to do. Rhianna made me laugh every time she came over she would be high energy. Rhianna took time to teach myself and my husband some colloquial terms in which other staff members enjoyed us using! Thank you Rhianna Overall a magical holiday, thank you, we will be back

    Honeymoon Review

    It was our honeymoon trip and absolutely amazing experience. From our travel agent Jenn who made it happen and was god send to the amazing staff at secrets. Blessed to have experienced it and will be back! We were so shocked at how amazing we were treated and how nice everyone was. We felt loved from everyone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Jenn and Phillipe (our butler) and everyone who made it happen.

    Perfect vacation!

    The stay was amazing! Beds were very comfortable and everybody who works there are so friendly and always ready to help you! We loved every minute of the days there and the beautiful sunrise and sunsets!! It is the perfect place for happiness!
