    Disappointed

    Starting with check-in sat in a chair for about a half hour, which is usual for resort, but when I was time to go to our room, we had no idea where to go and nobody would walk us to the room. When we got to our room and open the door, the odor and smell from that room was unbearable. Walked into the bathroom the walls looked like someone urinated on them or spilled something all over the walls. Walk towards the bed to check the sheets and the cover was dirty and the sheets and pillows were damp and it also smelled like urine. Turned on air conditioner and it leaked all night called maintenance three times no one came also could not shut the air conditioner off or turn it down. It was freezing in our room, so I called maintenance on that and no one came. I decided to clean the room with my body wash and a washcloth. There were such a bad yarn smell coming from near the headboard when I move the nightstand I’ve never seen so much dirt in my life in a resort so I started cleaning it after I cleaned it the smell was gone. I promise I will not recommend or ever go back to secrets

    Arbey was great. Resort was lacking.

    The resort as a whole was a let down. BUT shout out to the entertainment coordinator Arbey Lopez. This man deserves a raise. He was great, always happy and energetic and let us know what was going on at the resort! This resort does not have nightly entertainment or a general hangout area for guests after dinner. The “nightclub” which was the only bar open to non-VIP wasn’t open until 1030pm. They also charged extra for the New Year’s Eve party… $100 a person for a spot on the beach for the very sub par entertainment. This was not disclosed or advertised anywhere. I thought this was all-inclusive? Only 2 places were open for NYD, mo reservations allowed and we literally waited 2 hours for a table even after saying we could be split up in any nomination. Good drinks. Food we had was good minus the breakfast buffet which was very lacking. Room service 24/7 saved us, and the spa and gym at the family friendly resort next door which we had access to was great. Swimup bar was not the main pool, very odd. Over all- it was fine for people who want to be alone and go to bed early. Beach wasn’t also not big. But ok for a couple for a get away to sleep only. Would not go back nor recommend to lost for what we paid.

    Secrets has a bunch of secrets at this property! Not a Hyatt experience!

    This property is totally overpromised and underdelivered. The buildings are old and run down. My first room assigned, no ocean view -2nd room, with ocean view but the mold in the room made my physically sick. Hospitality staff seem to be so accustomed to complaints they seem numb. Take notes, but it took the 3rd day to get any action, Waste of money and time! And I took the premium club package! Pools are dirty, hot tub look uninhabitable, swim ups look gross!

    Fantastic Resort!

    The employees at the Market Cafe were our favorite. On our second day, hostess Kenia knew us by name. Our waitress, Gaspar, brought our favorite drink to the table without us even having to order. Rosanna runs things and is so organized. One night our a/c quit working. I let the front desk know and it was fixed within an hour. Every morning there was designs carved in the sand by the grounds crew. Secrets Aura is the best place we have ever vacationed. We will definitely be back!!

    Worst Secrets Resorts I've been to. I've been to almost all of them.

    The room was very nice, we were right on the beach. Beach was beautiful. On the other hand, the food was awful. It's the worst I've ever had at a Secrets resort. The staff was not very friendly. The New Year's Eve party was a lot less than expected. I will not be coming back to this resort.
