Overall good experience.
Preferred club beach view worth the upgrade price. Food and beverage were usually good. Room service was excellent. Concierge Moises was outstanding. Mixed drinks in the Preferred club were superior to those at the pool/patio bars. Ocean swimming or snorkeling off the beach not the greatest, rocky with zero visibility (we never went more than 300 yards off the beach). Lack of visibility may have been due to weather conditions during our stay. Access to sister resorts & restaurants a plus.

Be sure to lock your room and use the in room safe for anything you feel is valuable :-(
The bar staff, the omelet station for breakfast is a must. Had a security scare that resulted in theft and a claim that went unresolved and to date no contact from the resort or the Hyatt corporate office. We did a Jeep excursion for the day to come back to our room door being left wide open and belongings missing. Security confirmed 2 other key cards accessed our room during the day as of now, no resolve or contact. Completely ruined what was an amazing day, vacation up to that point. Either make sure you let the staff know of no house keeping being required, stay in your room while they do it or aggravate your vacation with multiple trips from the beach/pool to keep checking in on your room door being closed. So disappointing,

DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Worst service ever. 3 - 4 hours for room service. Water off in room for 4 hours one day. No one answers at front desk or concierge. Phone was broken and not replaced for 2 days. Took 3 hours for ice from room service. Staff complained about shortages.

Don't listen to all the haters!!
Once again there are alot of negative reviews. But truly people, for what you paid you weren't getting a 5 star resort. The staff is fantastic and we have been many time and they have updated or changed the menus in most of the restaurants, for the better. The resort is dated and need of some updating but it is really clean and we had a great time. Loved that the AC worked great, had hot water in the shower and the bed and pillows were comfy. We will be going back again next year. It is a beautiful place to slow down and enjoy.
