  A Hidden Gem

  Great resort! Excellent service and good. Not at all crowded. Cancun is known for excursions more than anything but if you plan to spend any time in an all inclusive resort this one gets the job done. Pedro from the Seasons restaurant was wonderful! Along will all our servers throughout the week. Highly recommend

  Nothing to complain about

  Excellent dishes, commodity, location, and attention. It has options for all tastes. International, Italian, Japanese cuisine will be of your picking, plus a variety of drinks from tequila to whiskey cocktails. I totally recommend it and would definitely come again

  Embarrassment hotel

  This resort is 100 percent a swinger resort with terrible food. The atmosphere is 100 percent party atmosphere with loud music from 11am to 3am. Drunks in the hallways from 2-4am carry on with loud music and talk. I am a royal elite timeshare member and absolutely do not not recommend this place unless you only care about partying and hooking up with someone. Couples that are not interested in this atmosphere look elsewhere to stay. Also, food was awful and hot tub has not worked in 4 years s per staff, and I hibachi cook them 4 tables - not good. Staff were great was the only positive. Had a couple traveling with us interested in royal elite. Told me I was a fool and I can say I don’t blame them based on this experience. To summarize, Sandi’s Cancun is an absolute embarrassment and should be ashamed to operate as anything other than a low class swinger hotel. No luxury in site, old run down falling apart furniture everywhere. Embarrassment hotel.

  I just returned from Sandos Cancun. We were there for 2 weeks. The best part of this hotel are the people that work there. They are wonderful. Special thanks to Fernando and Michelle who always did what ever they could to make our stay special. I picked this hotel because it is listed as a boutique resort. Due to some health issues my husband can't make it around some of the huge resorts in Cancun. It was truly a small resort which was great. After a couple of days I would have given this resort a lot more positives but it kind of went down hill from there. On my 6th day I slipped after getting out of the pool on their super slippery tiles. And no I wasn't drinking. I landed on my shoulder and left cheek bone and hard. My glasses broke and I actually went into shock for a minute. I don't think I've ever felt pain like that. Once I realized what had happened I was surrounded. The life guard had a wheel chair come and take me to the towel hut. I was very quiet and didn't want to draw attention to the situation. BEWARE of the pool area and all stairs surrounding the pool area, it is very dangerous. We watched so many people slip. there are uneven parts of the deck and terrible no slip rugs that people trip slip over. I ended up with a broken toe, scrapped knee, hurt shoulder and face that bruised and caused me a lot of discomfort. Within 10 minutes I had a black eye and bruising that ran down my face all the way to under my chin. The life guard and other employees told my husband they would call a doctor but it would cost us $150 US plus any other expenses associated with their visit and we would have to sign a waiver that the hotel wasn't responsible for my injuries. My husband and friends were furious. My husband asked why we would have to pay for the doctor when i fell on their property and refused to sign the waiver. Because of this they just didn't care. no follow up, no apology, no one checking to see how I was feeling or if I needed anything. my girlfriend complained to the Concierge and he said if was because we wouldn't sign the waiver. in the end I spoke to the hotel Manager, Carlos who said their policy was that the hotel pays for the Doctor if it happened on their property and that his staff must have misunderstood. He apologized and offered a special dinner which ended up just being the same dinner we'd already had. I didn't even attend because I wasn't feeling well. After all this, i asked the entertainment manager (Alex) if he could turn down this terrible thumping club music blaring in this small bar area in the lobby because my head was pounding and he said no. It was casino night, no dance floor, and no dancing so there was no reason for it blowing our heads off. 80% of the customers at this hotel are 40 and up. no one wanted to hear this terrible music all day at the pool and all night in the bar area but Alex didn't care. And it was the same tapes every day. A lot of the people got up and left that evening because they also couldn't stand it. Alex didn't care. i have been a customer service manager for 25 years and this isn't how you treat your customers...EVER. I have also travelled more times than i can count and I've never been treated this poorly by a management team. There are several other issues like people getting sick, but I think I've given you an idea of how our 2 weeks went. Again most of their staff was wonderful especially the wait staff. They seem to be the only ones that care about taking care of you and ensuring you're happy. This and because we were travelling with our dearest friends we managed to make the most of it.

  Great service!

  Our experience in general has been great! Cesar, thank you so much for your hospitality! We hope to see hoy again soon! Great service. Accommodation, food and activities in general. Great location and the quality of the service is autstanding!
