Death of a thausand cuts
Death of a thausand cuts! Unknowledgable staff made check in take forever. Of our group of 25 people, half had wrong rooms or uncleaned rooms and everyone had poorly stocked rooms, (two double beds for the bride and groom? and it took days to correct that mistake?) Shame! Don't bring your concerns to the cleaning staff, they don't speak english. Instead you'll walk a mile to the front desk to be told come back later. Have your cash ready for the cover charge at the disco and good luck finding drinks after 2am. Beach bar doesn't open til 10am. They'll have to rewrite the lyrics to their theme song. Don't know it? Don't worry you will. It plays everywhere, endlessly. The power blinked in the sports bar, when the tv's came back on they played that song for 30 minutes straight. Despite my requesting several times to mulitple staff members no one lifted a finger. It felt like Guantanamo Bay torcher! Watch out at the buffet. Don't eat anyting that doesn't get replenished regularly. Several of our group got sick from eating food that had been out too long. Watch your step at the pool. We had a person cut their foot on glass in the pool and another nearly break their leg due to the broken plastic grate near the splash park. The whole was big enough for a child step into. I could go on and on. Now we'll wait for the manager from the hotel to offer us some excuses. My advice.. seak your pleasure elsehwere my friends.

Family Had a Great Time
We enjoyed our stay over the week, and we had the Bulter service Rick & David were excellent in letting us know everything we could do around the resort. They provided us daily updates of events on the resort which was very helpful in keeping our kids busy and of course they helped us set up times for the restaurants. The food was great, the restaurants were great, and the kid's pool area was great for my kids. The rooms were consistently clean, staff was great as well. My only negative feedback was the smell of the water which gives a sewer smell, as someone who grew up on a farm I understand filtering water and using local water is a balancing act but not everyone will understand that. This is an area of improvement for sure.

Amazing resort with friendly staff.
Amazingly comfortable beds. Rooms were beautiful. Grounds were immaculate. Service was top notch. Pools were clean. Food was amazing. Drinks were perfect. Did a 50 minute massage and loved how we did the hydrotherapy prior to the massage. My body felt amazing after. The staff catered to our every need. Most spoke English very well.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid this resort. I stayed at the Royalton Splash next door last year and decided to try this one, but it was a huge disappointment. The Splash is far superior in every way. The issues began immediately upon check-in. I had booked an ocean-view room, but instead received a pool-view room. When I spoke to the front desk, they explained that all rooms have a pool view with only a partial ocean view, which could only be seen by leaning out from the balcony. After two nights, the ceiling in our room started leaking water onto the bed. We were told it couldn’t be fixed and were then downgraded to a room with a view of the resort's backside. Room service was also unreliable, with wait times of up to three hours for something as simple as water bottles. The hotel is showing its age, with several rooms under renovation. The shower heads had rust, and there were visible cracks in the bed frame and walls. The food at the à la carte restaurants was subpar, and the buffet was a better option. As someone who visits Mexico every year, this is easily one of the worst—if not the worst—resorts I've ever stayed at.

Awesome!
This resort is Amazing! Ana from guest services was very nice and personable! She made our experience for my cousin birthday so smooth with booking excursions and Bali beds. This was our second time coming to the resort and each time it gets better and better!
