  Great beach area with palm trees. Food and restaurants are very mediocre.

  Marriott Titanium benefits have been removed as of Oct 2024, thus no longer have access to black diamond pool and beach area. Quality of poolside food Buffett has been severely reduced, serving chicken wings and sausage everyday. Great place if you are don’t have any expectations of quality and service. This was my 4 time to visit. And have seen the steady decline.

  Royalton Chic-5 Stars

  The staff was amazing! Arturo and Ricardo were very helpful and made the Diamond Club experience even better. The hotel was nice and modern with great beach access to match. Location is perfect a lot of options to eat in walking distance. I’ve already recommended it to multiple people and would love to come back myself

  Great time at Royalton Chic

  The hotel staff were excellent and courteous friendly and hilarious. Jesse Parra and Andelee took such good care of us in the Cabana area of the Diamond section, we MUST continue utilizing this option. The food in buffet are was adequate. Breakfast 4/5 stars Lunch and dinner 2/5 stars. The beach was pristine, very clean and quiet. The location is a 5 minute walk from Coco Bongo, a local entertainment area. We are definitely returning, sooner than later.

  Came with a group of friends to celebrate a special birthday

  Giving these 5 star reviews due to the EXCELLENT service from the moment we arrived and met our butlers “Daniel” & “Esteban” whom were so friendly, helpful, responsive and proactive at coordinating everything for us & ensuring each day was an amazing one & paid attention to all the details (big & small). “Daniel” & “Esteban” went over & above for us & should be recognized for their incredible customer service, and guest experience as should “Jaime” (our favourite waiter whom also went out of his way to make each meal & guest feel special, appreciated and taken care of…so much so, made each meal & we would seek out “Jaime’s section” you’re lucky to have those 3 gentleman work at the Royalton Chic, & should be proud of how they represent your brand; as they work extremely hard and we appreciated their efforts & professionalism!. Now the same can not be said for our checkout experience (and I want to call this out and emphasize that this has nothing to do with “Daniel, Esteban, nor Jaime”), as truthfully, our trip was fantastic thanks to them, and was a great one…up until our very unfortunate and extremely disappointing checkout experience, which we are still confused about. Unfortunately our checkout experience was the complete opposite of our stay & I’d strongly suggest Royalton consider whom they hire and/or promote as their front desk Supervisor/Manager at Chic Royalton Cancun) “Ale” could not have been more unpleasant. And if our experience was rated based on her than this guest survey would have scored 0 stars if not -1’s across the board - “Ale” had no manners, we had to request copies of our receipts & despite us thanking her multiple times, for her time & for trying to assist us with inquiries pertaining to some of our charges, she wouldn’t acknowledge us, she didn’t look up to see our faces nor crack a smile, she didn’t thank us, nor apologize for the confusion; not even a goodbye. “Ale” made our entire party feel unwanted and unwelcome & I assure you, had that been our check-in experience, our group would not have stayed an hour, let alone 5 days. Not sure she reflected the brand nor guest experience Royalton would want for targeting potential returning customers. Do better next time for your next guest(s) “Ale”!

  Great relaxation

  Food and service was great! Beach was fantastic. The rooms were really nice and the organization with the butler was a neat experience . The only issue was the taxi from the airport. Next time I will pre arrange this as the ones at the airport take you over the coals.
