It was a fun resort for senior spring break. Weather and beach was perfect! Food was okay and it was hard to get dinner reservations if you didn’t have a butler, which we did. Adonis did a great job. I would definitely recommend upgrading to Diamond club level!

Solid overall service. The Diamond Club is a must. And our concierge / butler Adonis was fantastic. The food selection was really good, but Reservations can be incredibly difficult to get, so recommend doing that the first thing after you arrive.

Good family resort
Angela was my concierge during my stay at the Royalton Bavaro. She was very helpful and made sure my stay was wonderful. She made dinner reservations for my whole stay. Best restaurant was the steakhouse. The resort was clean and the service was great. Rooms were new, spacious and clean. Food was good.

Lamenting that real life does not have pina coladas delivered to my beach chair
My teenage son and I spent 5 days and 4 nights at this beautiful, modern resort. We stayed in a swim-out room which certainly smelled like chlorine (understandable) but was a beautiful benefit that we took full advantage of. On our second day, we upgraded to the Diamond Club, chiefly for access to more restaurants. The pool and beach area w/ wait staff, along with access to the waterpark next door, were awesome benefit that we enjoyed, too. Our butler was not quite as responsive as we had hoped. He did not reach out and was slow to respond when we did have a question. I found the food to be very good; the fruit was fresh, everything in presentation was amazing. The staff were warm and attentive , and the whole resort was immaculate. We did find a couple of cockroaches in our room and the staff were very responsive to remove them and clean our room top to bottom. Finally, my son did a FlowRider lesson which was his favorite part of the trip. He also liked the sport court but did not do any excursions--we found there was enough around the resort to enjoy. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with a clean, beautiful beach, lovely accommodations, and a nice variety of options in dining, I would wholeheartedly suggest going with the Diamond Club at the Royalton Bavaro.

Spring Break!
We went to the Royalton for my daughter ‘s senior trip with her friends and their family’s . The resort was beautiful and everyone had a great time. We were in the DC and had Adonis for a butler. He was amazing. He always made sure we had dinner reservations, went above and beyond. He checked in daily and helped set up a couple of outings for us. He even went out of his way when another person in our group had an emergency.
