  Amazing holiday

  We had a lovely time away at The Royalton in Antigua and found the resort, the hotel and the staff all really lovely. We didn’t want to leave! For restaurant bookings you’re best to download the Royalton app, set an alarm for 10am and book for 48hrs ahead.

  A Dream Birthday Vacation

  The room was extremely comfortable and we had a great time using the amenities. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like we were the most important guests on the resort. Vanessa, Veronica, Diamond, Beverly and Ella just too name a few. We plan to return ASAP with our children and grandchildren.

  First Time and Disappointed

  We have traveled to many islands and I have to say that while the island itself is beautiful the staff and the Royalton was not very friendly. Except for Charlene at the martini bar. She was exceptional. All the other bartenders and staff acted like you were bothering them. This was our first time in Antigua and it’s the first island I’ve left where I don’t think I’d go back. If I did I wouldn’t go back to the Royalton.

  Disappointed in Royalton

  Gorgeous beach and water. Not a Royalton I'd go back to. This place could be great but unfortunately the lack of care and surprisingly beat up resort for only being a 6 ish years old place is too much. We made it a great time, not allowing anyone to steal our joy, however running out of alcohol at the beach bar, constantly out of food at all restaurants and buffets and the total lack of care by most of the employees, makes this place a 2 out of 10. The only bright spot is the vibe team, they got to know my teenage kids and really did a good job rallying the kids for volleyball and other activities. We spent a lot of time waiting for a buffet only to have to get our own water and wine. The only restaurant that seemed well run (still out of items) was hunters. Most of the employees seem to be very unhappy. It was glaringly obvious after check when we had a plane issue and ended up at the pineapple beach resort for 1 night. Night and day difference with start staff. They were friendly and happy vs the Royalton where we seemed to be bugging them. Very disappointed in Royalton management. How do you not stock a BAR with limes?? So many issues. Their were not enough chairs our week, and they ending up brining some more in. But still not enough spots for people by anyone. Won't be back but my guess is this place won't last as a is for years to come

  NOT WORTH IT

  this resort is NO WHERE near 5 stars, nor is it worth the price what so ever. I traveled here for a wedding February 2025. to start, we requested a king bed, we were given two doubled and told there was nothing they could do but would contact us when a king bed became available (never contacted). we booked reservations at the restaurants, each time they RAN OUT of options, even at 7pm when dinner started at 6pm. food took 1-2 hours to even arrive at the table. they also would run out of sides and not even inform us but just bring us a different option and expect us to be okay with it. the buffet was the best option and in my opinion had the best food. half the staff ignored you, or were slightly rude even if you tipped. the bars also constantly ran out of tequila and or other drink ingredients. the vibe of the resort is quiet, not much going on honestly if youre looking to have more entertainment. the beach is gorgeous and clean, that part was amazing. there's also a low-key lobster shack down the end of the beach you could go to. overall I would never come back to this resort. we booked 4 months in advance with a wedding group rating, still costing $2600 CAD. I have been to far better resorts for half the price.
