What We Love
- It's an all-inclusive family fiesta on the beach with everything you want - and more.
- The kids club with buckets of activities and the Noah's Ark waterpark for splishy-splashyness.
- Descending into blissdom during a stress-smashing massage at the spa.
- The relaxing pool for the adults where doing absolutely nothing is the main activity.
Things to Know
- The airport is just 15 minutes from the airport. You'll have a cocktail before you can say "beach."
- Don't miss horseback riding and whale watching between December and April. Bucket Listers, for sure.
- Taking a boat ride out to get a gander of El Arco is a must-do. (No, really, it is.)
- Bring your own thermal cup to the pool - they'll fill it. Bottoms up, beach lovers.

Do not recommend
Hotel gives more attention to Members than other guests. Do not recommend for vacation. We to Riu Palace Los Cabos, and there was a huge difference for people from Canada. No animation or musique after 10h30. Even though we were 30 people dancing, they closed the Music in front of us. Renovations everywhere at Beach, at pool and floor 5. Excursions - do not take the catamaran excursion. If was not a catamaran.. and just want to sell you Jewerly and tequila. Disapointing week for the group of 39 people !

Great guy Jacob!
We travelled to Cabo with ten of our family members. While eating at the buffet we were privileged to encounter Jacob Jonathan. He anticipated our needs and made a special effort to accommodate my 8 month old granddaughter! Jacob greeted us every morning and made us feel special! Thank you Jacob!!!

Such a lovely place to be at! The breakfast cooked by Magdali every morning 🌄 and others as well 😋 👌
The beds are really comfortable and good for the stay! The employees are really working tirelessly all the time except one unfortunately the attendance of the fast food next the pool, tha attitude that she presented to us as my family members we are 8 people celebrating the 75th Aniversary of my cousin Freddy. Thanks to the attention of this comments?

Royal Solaris #1
I don’t know where to start??? But WOW is my first impression of Royal Solaris Los Cabos! And wow is a fantastic wow! This is our 8th trip to cabo usually at an adults resort but this year we had family with us. This is also our first trip to Royal Solaris. So reading the reviews I was skeptical. Well I now know everyone’s idea of fab is different but I will tell you mine. Firstly hotel is very well appointed … enough food varieties as well the food we felt was super great! The burger bar was meh but everything else is fabulous and I mean fabulous! The staff go out of their way to make this a vacation top notch. Thank you to every single one of them! Sure you have to get up early to get a chair but that’s the same everywhere we have been. Besides get up and watch the beautiful sunrise they are so lovely. We had a group of 9 and the app site was great to book restaurants. I can’t say enough good things about this resort …. We have stayed at Dreams Secrets Riu and others and I can say this place is certainly up there with the best!!! We can now see why folks just keep coming back to this resort! Thank you Royal Solaris!!! Will be back in two shakes of a lambs tail!!!

DO NOT BOOK
Into mediocre times? Love sitting on the ground at the pool? Like eating at the buffet every day for all your meals? Well, this is the place for you. This was the worst all-inclusive vacation I have ever been on. Royal Solaris, as a company, is pushing/catering only to members. Day one we were told we could 'upgrade' to the new Lighthouse hotel next door as it was only at 10-20% capacity (vs the 100% we were at). So, obviously we said yes and committed to the sales talk. We completed, politely declined to be told by the closer 'we were idiots for not signing up-our loss'. Regardless of his questionable sales tactic, we had packed our up room ready to move only to be told we could not because we booked with Costco Travel. This was never brought up prior to the commitment. We spent ALL DAY arguing with the manager about what was promised and they needed to follow through. Finally we were moved to an ocean view room in the over-capacity hotel- the view was pretty, but the room was no different than our 'partial' view (well we did get a robe now...). The hotel then offered us 'day passes' x2 to the vacant hotel. Pros: Hotel, albeit old, very clean. Breakfast buffet was standard- you need to aks for bacon to be brought to your table-you won't find! Pizza at pool was pretty good (but could be upwards of a 45+ wait because only one person working there). Majority of staff friendly and trying to cater to members and sometimes non-members. The manager started off wanting me to just concede to accepting nothing, but she did seem to try and checked in on us- however we had such a bad time we were tired of asking for help and just spent 90% of our time off the resort property. Cabo Azul, Viceroy, Santo Pulpo, and Pence were awersome! Shows every night which people seemed to enjoy- we went to one- Barcelo's are better (no offence to the hard working dancers!) Cons for NON-members: -No pool chairs or you have to be up at 0545 to get one. The members are in kahoots and claim +++ chairs for their frieds in large parties. -Pools not heated- a bit frigid and I usually appreciate a cool dip. -Main pool was chaos of obnoxious music; shoehorned in folks; adult pool was tiny. -Charge ontop of tips for room service. -1st room the blanket was only a sheet; when we got 'upgraded' to ocean view we actually had a blanket. -Out of 10 days was able to book two a-la-carte reservations- otherwise all booked. Also I had to ask the manager to help book because on the app they were 'full'. -My favorite was members nights where NOTHING was open (except the reliable 'oriental feature' buffet) and you got to watch all the members have a show and dinner. -Can only review the two al-la-cartes; Panchos was medicore I know I can be fussy about food but showcase your beautiful mexican cuisine! Netx up was the 'Oriental' (may want to consider changing that title). It was edible...that is all I can say. I have traveled to alot of all-inclusves and this was the worst. If you are not a member, do not book here. We ended up spending about another $800-1000 eating elsewhere because there is only so much buffet one can manage. Furthermore, do not do the talk- empty promises! THey even had mentioned asunset cruise, but never followed through. We likely would have ended up on a dingy behind the boat being thrown scraps since 'we weren't members and booked through Costco'. I am actually quite shocked Costco is affiliated with this hotel. I would say book anywhere else- it is worth spending more money because it was a terrible experience.
