Definitely Recommended!
Amazing hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved all the views! We got to go snorkeling at black rock beach with the turtles which is super close to the hotel and watching the whales from our room. We would definitely recommend!!!

Royal Lahaina Ka’anapali…no ka oi.
In our family’s opinion there is no better resort in all Hawai’i than the Royal Lahaina. Built in the 60’s, Hawai’ian owned and staffed, best stretch of Ka’anapali Beach, Aloha spirit flowing free and strong. Wonderful accommodations for couples, yet great cottages for families too. Food and beverages to keep you here forever. No ka oi fo shu!!!

Very Positive experience at the Royal Lahaina Resort and Bungalows
This was our first time to Hawaii, so we bought a travel package through Costco which included this resort. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was lovely with a great view of the ocean. Kanapali beach is wonderful. The hotel was quiet and had everything we needed. The restaurant had terrific food (try the Mochi crusted Mahi Mahi, it's to die for). Also, they offer free music under a large Banyan tree in the back of the property from 6-9pm every day of the week. The musicians were high quality and we visited almost every night. This is a very nice property and we would definitely stay here again!

I wanted to love this Resort but.....
I wanted to love this hotel but had the worst experience. I bought my mom here for her 70th Birthday and stayed in a Bugalow. The rooms are very outdated but had a chic warm family vibe. The front desk agent was not polite at all when checking in. It felt like a robot service. We were told housekeeping service is every other day but that was not true. I called multiple times and waited in a long line to follow up with my house keeping service and after empty promises it would be cleaned i was then frustrated. I was transferred to housekeeping and advise they are "short staff" and they were not able to get to our room and housekeepers were gone for the day. I overhead someone say they have new owners and increased in price and now charge for overnight parking. Rooms are not cheap here. I paid over $500 a night for poor service. Disappointed. i understand the cost of inflation but increasing prices for a non-hospitable experience is daunting.

The Magic of The Royal Lahaina Resort
We had an amazing time a the Royal Lahaina Resort, our host Ford Ushijima was incredible, he was so helpful with planning many of the events we participated in, and was always looking out for all the guests. I can guarantee that we will be coming back to the Royal Lahaina Resort in November, and thanks to Ford we will make this an annual trip. Mahalo Richard & Janice Doten
