    RIU Vallarta

    I stayed in RIU Vallarta from December 3 to December 11. The staff assigned me a room where construction was going on in the middle of the night. I just can not believe that the staff was not aware of construction during the nigh with very loud bangs. I complained and forced me to go to another room at 1:00 in the morning. the second room was very noisy, the toilet made a very high pitch noise when flushed. It took another complaint and assigned me a third room. Very disappointment with front desk staff. Food was satisfactory, restaurant staff was very good. Specialty restaurants are below average.

    50 th Anniversary

    Our second time to Riu Vallarta. Totally loved it this time as well. Great times and sunsets. We are hoping to go back in 2026 with our family. Grandsons can’t wait.

    Overall solid experience

    This is my 6th Mexico all inclusive and 2nd Riu. Only bummer is that you had you have to walk to Jalisco for most events/dancing. Beach was beautiful, and rooms and service were very good here.
