Okay, I understand. Here’s the review content and title, adhering to your specific requirements:
Okay, here’s a review fitting your specifications: “This place was alright. The rooms were clean, but nothing special. Food was decent, you won’t starve but don’t expect gourmet. The pool area was the best part, always something happening. Service was okay, some staff were great, others seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Overall, a solid 3/5 experience.”

Perfect
Everyone at this hotel is trying and giving their best at all times! I will be back and definitely recommend this hotel to everybody (solo, group of friends, couples) you get great drinks with the booze of your choice- Mojitos and espresso martinis are perfect and you get them right away. Special thanks to Fernando/receptionist and Sammy/food service. It was my first all inclusive experience, but surely not the last one. Theres a great party going on at one pool and a more relaxed section and music at the other pool but my room was quiet. Plenty of activities and party all day and night long. Great people everywhere.

Not A 5 Star Resort
This hotel is incorrectly represented as a 5 star resort which it most definetely is not. At best I would rate it a Cuban 4 star. If you are expectinga 5 star go elsewhere or risk being disappointed. Pros: Pool area, public washrooms and grounds are extremely clean. Good quality toilet paper and our room was well stocked with it. Jerk chicken at beach restaurant was good Cons: Food was horrible for the most part. Many of the people complained of stomach issues and loss of overall appetite from eating. Selection at the restaurants and buffet did not changeat all over our two week stay. I personnaly had 9 hours of vomiting and diahrea from food poisoning. All that was available for soft drinks was diet Pepsi and 7 Up. Bar drinks were watered down especially their versions of Kahlua and Sambuca. Drinks were inconsistent from bartender to bar tender. Operating power outels in the rooms were scarce. Beds were terrible. Hot water was inconsistent. Some people complained of a lack of fresh beach towels. Subjective: Entertainment was nothing special, neither bad or great in my estimation.

Want a table at the steakhouse, give Oscar 100 bucks.
We have been here 3 times now. The drinks are not as good, using very cheap liquors, only one bar has a bourbon. Biggest issue, the steakhouse. We were told you had to come and wait in line. So we came back and were ready to wait in line. We then were told we had to have a reservation. The person at the steakhouse gave us incorrect information previously. We spoke to the Supervisor, Oscar. He said he has no control over who gives out information at the stand at the steakhouse. Hmmm..he is the Supervisor but has no control over the information given out at his restaurant. He basically said, too bad. Well, my New York buddy really wanted a steak, so offered Oscar $100 for a table and what do you know, a table was available in 30 minutes. To get anything at this place anymore, you have to give money to the individuals. We won't be back.

Awesome party experience. Rest.. so much.
Before you think ‘’oh another Karen complaining’’ No, I am a 26 y/o party animal who went there with friends and have been to other RIUs. I booked this hotel wanting to party and for that aspect, I was served. FOOD: Ok, not a difficult guy, not awesome but edible and wont make you too too sick. Steakhouse was great! Service very good ! Buffet had decent variety but some people will always complain. Jerk chicken station was very tasty. ROOMS: I killed about a dozen cockroaches during my week. Shower had no hot water half of the time. TV not working. The hotel needs some love and renos or a pest treatment or both. The resort should spray (dont know if they do) but lots of mosquitos even in February. AC also not working half the time. Cleaning and refill was done everyday so thats good ! ANIMATIONS/PARTY: AWESOME nothing negative to say. RIU partys were sick and I was served for that aspect. Decent party on the resort. Had a lot of fun during my week despite the poor sanitation. Beach was clean and very nice ! Conclusion: If you want to party and you get a good deal, do it. Otherwise I would suggest the RIU Santa Fe for a cleaner version of this. Definitely not a 5* but closer to 3-4*. Overall level of sanitation is lacking. Saw dead cockroaches in the Sports Bar as well. Pay attention, and you will see them. My review couldve been also a 2/5 but I had too much fun despite the poor state of the rooms and the sanitation to give it 2/5.
