    Great time there at riu reggae 👌

    Taken my wife there for her birthday had a great time there. Food was good Party in pools and white party at the montego bay was good and foam party in the pool great . The life gaurds at the pool and beach where all good to plus kenniel we seen every day cleaning the pool and tidy up around good job plus in that heat good on him .all and all good time there be back again soon nice place jamaica and riu reggae.

    Great hotel but don't take your snorkel and mask!

    This is a lovely hotel with amazing staff. Our Seaview room could not have been better, right on the front with a view to die for. Comfy bed and big walk in shower all kept clean by Alexia who also does nice towel art. Yes, there really is a set of spirits optics in every room! All the staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. There is fun daytime entertainment and some good shows most nights. A downside is the sea, the sand is so fine that it makes the sea cloudy to the point where if you're up to your knees in it you can't see your feet! This was a real disappointment for a couple that love snorkeling. We did other things to make up for it, table tennis, giant chess and jenga in the pool plus my wife enjoyed the daily aquacise sessions with Spade 45 or Flexx, the guys who ran them. There are a good range of eateries but as it had the best vegetarian options and really nice staff stuck to Ackee. If you're vegetarian the other restaurants are a a bit limited. As I'm not great at walking in the heat another lift would have been welcome, the one they have was literally as far from our room as it's possible to get but I did choose it so can't complain. Apart from the murkiness of the sea, which may not be that bad all year, I can't fault this hotel and recommend it to anyone after a fairly lively but child free holiday.

    2nd Visit to Riu Reggae in 6 months

    Riu employees (most but not all) go out their way to make you feel welcomed. The Entertainment crew is the highlight of the resort. Bolt, specifically, is a tremendous talent & an invaluable asset to your organization. I hope he gets the recognition he so rightly deserves!

    No Returns to RIU Reggae

    The staff at RIU Reggae, especially reception staff, were hospitable and provided the best possible service. For this, they deserve 5 stars. ⭐️ My family visited and as a group we occupied 6 rooms. Four of our rooms were changed. Though my change was for an enhanced view, some of my family had problems in their rooms. One of my relatives reported black mold on her mattress. The best meal offered is breakfast. Otherwise the food offerings on the property were surprisingly bland. As well, the restaurants have hours, which seems to defy the all inclusivity purchased. The snacks provided during late night were minimal and not satisfying. Overall, we were disappointed with the food. Bar drinks were tasty, and again, compliments to the staff. The resort makes an effort to provide entertainment; and it was ok. The excursion options were nice, but were provided by a separate company. I love beautiful Jamaica. I would select a different property for any other “all-inclusive” visits.

    Excellent visit

    We had an excellent time and experience at RIU Reggae. We made fast friends with many staff (bartenders, dinner servers, buffet staff). The greeting at the front desk was wonderful, check in was quick, friendly, drinks were brought to us immediately. Staff took our bags immediately and held them until our room was ready, then carried them to our room. This trip was to celebrate a birthday. We were surprised with balloons in the room and a small gift from front desk staff. Even the cleaning staff wished me a happy birthday and were always friendly. The food is very good and has a large variety to choose from. The entertainers were good and provided a fun atmosphere. This was our second trip to this resort and it does not disappoint! We even had some heartfelt goodbyes from our favorite bartender and dinner server who we connected with.
