Room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The pools are all heated clean. The food is okay, the restaurants have to have reservations but we’re all booked the day we checked in, if you check back they sometimes have later ones pop up. There is a convenience store at the bottom of the driveway. We stayed at the Riu in Aruba before and they set the bar real high. Bahamas Riu was just okay comparable.

Dec 19, 2024Lovely Time for 10th Anniversary - Would highly recomend!
This is our 3rd Riu stay (first in Bahamas) and hotel and rooms were updated and well maintained. A bit busy when checking in, but they immediately brought more staff over and opened lines to help make process quicker. Our king room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I have difficulty sleeping but slept very well. The beach was a little too rough, being on the Atlantic side, but sand very soft and no rocks. Both pools were very nice. My husband and I both thought the food was very nice. They need to work on the Riu App and make it easier to book dinner reservation at the restaurant, but we spoke to front desk, and they helped us out. I had a made to order omelet every morning and lots of fresh fruit and juices to select from. Most of the staff was very nice, however, there were a few that needed to work on their hospitality skills. We would both recommend.

Prime location. Good vibes. Amazing staff. Will be back! Appreciated the holiday decorations and the Santa hats.

Paradise Island
Very nice views and welcoming staff. Breakfast was on point every time. The Beach access was very convenient.

The bar service has been horrible. We can’t do anything bc of the weather but we can sit at the main inside bar for 30 minutes asking for drinks and the bartenders ignore us completely and we are the people who they have seen tip them. The food is not bad. We always travel with this resort but this has the been the worst experience ever. Don’t come here. No one smiles and enjoys there jobs
