Beautiful resort! No complaints whatsoever, food, beach, cleanliness were all on point. Hotel is about an 8 min Uber ride to the cute town of Bucerías and about 35-40mins to downtown Puerto Vallarta (about $40 round trip). The beach at the hotel was clean and calm to swim in and zero rocks. Was very impressed and will be making plans to visit again next year!

Phenomenal Experience
We just flew home after a week stay at the Riu Palace Pacifico. Saying our Resort experience here was great would be a massive understatement. The Property flat out exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds comfortable and everything exceptionally clean. In fact the cleanest rooms we have encountered at any resort we have visited. The selection of drinks was great and of high quality, I'd like to point out that the Bolbero Bar was the best of the bunch. The Service and Food at all of the restaurants was absolutely top notch. There was a nasty wait for the Steak House and it's not warranted because the Krystal and Kyoto were definitely superior to it. The Short Rib we had at the Krystal was the most flavourful, tenderest Short Rib we've ever had. We are from Alberta, home of the world's finest beef so this is high praise. The Lobby Cafe is a little gem. They not only had coffee and teas, their fare included great milkshakes, yummy sandwiches and delectable sweets. My wife and I just loved tiny little Justitta's delicious omelettes and perfect over easy eggs in the mornings. I have a significant chemical sensitivity and Denise at the front desk was extremely gracious and helpful dealing with my disability. The Calico Cat named Catamaran is a sweetheart, be sure to give her pets. In no particular order these are the people who stood out to us for their amazing care and attention. Jazmin Angeles Orlando Yaqui Justitta Andrea Victor Julian - made me laugh at breakfast every day. Alonso Mirella Mauro If you're buying any Silver or Sunglasses there's a small building near the ocean. There's a guy there named Rodolfo (Rudy) that was honest and fair priced. I had the good fortune to interact with Victor the Property Manager on four occasions. He made us feel like Royalty every time with his kind words and mannerisms. I'm going to point out that when I complimented him on how well managed the Resort was, he humbly gave all the credit to his amazing staff. That is the sign of a great GM. If there was a 21 star rating, this property and phenomenal staff deserve it. We will return to the Riu Palace Pacifico again. PS take cat treats for the Cats

Wonderful Stay - Great Remodel
This is our third time at this property and we could not be more pleased. Wonderful staff. QUIET on the quiet side. No lines for restaurants (except the steakhouse but we got in every time).

Probably one of the better RIU we have stayed at. Service was great and friendly, food was amazing. Clean and well kept
