    March Break Vacation

    It was my first time at a RIU and i was very impressed. I loved that everything was close walking distance. The à la carte restaurants were delicious and drinks at the Lobby and café restaurants were also excellent. The place is absolutely gorgeous and very clean and the people working there are always very friendly. The only negative is that the pool umbrellas do not provide any shade and would need to be replace and of course like many hotels, its unfortunate that many chairs were reserved for the whole day but nobody was there. I think that many people reserved chairs at the pool and at the beach. I think that should be more monitored. I think that rooms could use a little update. But in all I was very satisfied with my stay and would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    Some bad, some good

    Resort is right on a lovely beach and staff was wonderful, very friendly and work hard to keep place clean and provide good service. The resort food at the restaurants was very poor quality. If you like buffets, the beach and dinner or breakfast buffet were pretty good but I do not like buffets in general. Entertainment was lacking at night. Beach was awesome however as were the pools and swim up bar. Rooms have a wierd layout with no privacy when stepping out of the shower. The hallway noise was very loud at all hours.

    First time ever traveling outside of Canada

    Amazing time with excellent staff great food and entertainment. However the beds in our room where terrible, very hard and springs where felt during sleep. We where in room 100 but we where down with a large group for a wedding and the overall consensus from the group was the beds where terrible.

    Beautiful resort

    The resort and the beach is so gorgeous. The staff is so lovely and friendly. There’s friendly little animals all over the resort and they are so adorable! There is a lovely little shopping area right down the road and it is so lovely.

    My family have been to the Hotel Riu Palace Mexico on several occasions and it never disappoints. The resort, grounds, beach and food are excellent.
