  Well Done Riu!

  We (52F, 61M) stayed at Riu Macao the first week of April, 2025 in a swim up, ocean view room (room 6015). We loved the fact that the resort is smaller, it never felt busy, the staff was amazing, the food was great, the beach was gorgeous and you could walk forever. The swim up felt private and was well worth the money! The room was great. This was our 6th visit to a Riu property and is our new fav! We would DEFINATELY come back.

  Great time with plenty of fun and sun

  We spent 5 nights at this resort and had great fun! The entire staff at this all-inclusive resort go above and beyond to make you always feel like you are VIP. Food is decent, could be better. We had buffet for breakfast and lunch and tried Krystal’s, Volare (Italian), and the Steakhouse for dinner. I wish there were more vegetarian options but I managed. Lisselote was the most friendly, welcoming, and amazing server. We loved her so much, she took great care of us. Rigual, Alexandrina were also great, as was Kassandra at the Cubano bar at night. We spent many lazy days by the beach or pool. There was some daily shenanigans going on a the pool bar if you’re into that - we decided to stay in the quieter pool most days though. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we are so thankful to the entire staff here. They really bring this resort to the next level.

  Perfect Balance of Relaxation

  We recently stayed at the adults-only hotel of the resort while the rest of our family stayed next door in the family-friendly part of the complex — and it was the best of both worlds! The adults-only hotel was a peaceful paradise. The atmosphere was calm, the pool area was serene, and the service was outstanding. It gave us a chance to unwind and enjoy some quiet time, while still being just a short walk away from our family whenever we wanted to join in on the fun. It was especially great to have our own relaxing space to return to after spending the day with the kids. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they made us feel like we had truly found our own little retreat. Highly recommend this setup if you’re traveling with extended family — you get the joy of togetherness, but also the luxury of privacy. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  Anniversary trip

  We have a really good time at Riu Macao, service at buffet restaurant was excellent, the waitress at pool and coconut guys also was always attentive to our needs; thanks a lot

  Perfect beach escape

  Everyone working here was so friendly. The Riu Party Team were so fun and lively pool side. The restaurants we're pretty good - sometimes some things were cold and sometimes service was slow but overall i was happy with my meals. The buffet was always a good idea in the morning and I loved the little cafe and grabbing my morning tea to take to the beach enjoy the empty early morning relaxation. The room was clean, the pool was clean and there was always something going on. The sports bar was also a good option at night! For me i loved that it was a smaller hotel and never felt overcrowded never had to wait for anything. There was also alcohol i heard of here ohh and the bar between the italian place and steak place had the BEST drinks same bartender was there each night and he was the only one that did it perfect (pineapple mezcal margs). I mention the clean pool and alcohol brands bc we spent one night at republica and alcohol was brands i didnt know and drinks were terrible and their swim up bar pool was CLOUDY. Def would recommend Palace Macao to friends and family.
