Honest review
Like every hotel there’s good and there’s not so good. The rooms were clean, aesthetically pleasing and bed was comfortable. Ambience in the hotel was good. Swimming pools were good, water slide was a plus. Food at the buffet was ok, but could’ve been better. Not many options in soup, pasta, and seafood. Most hotels have make your own pasta station this one did not. Restaurants were hard to get reservations. The Asian restaurant was great. Coffee station in the lobby was great. There’s many bars but drinks are too sweet , even the soft drinks were super sweet. Waiters and waitresses were nice and pleasant. I feel that there should be an option for premium drinks.

House keeping a little disappointing!
House cleaning the first week was terrible room was only cleaned 4 days out of seven days . Maid came one day late and asked if we needed towels then asked for a tip . Second week was so much better . (Maybe first week was due to Mr Riu and guests been at the resort for the weekend. Other than that the stay staff and food were amazing . Best entertainment crew that we have seen at the Riu chain and we have been to several.

A mixed Bag of a review!
Beautiful hotel and well maintained gardens. The rooms were superb, the staff were fabulous, they were all so friendly and helpful. The selection in the buffet was immense and quality and presentation excellent. The people of Jamaica were the happiest and friendliest and I loved the island. The Steakhouse was the only A L’Carte we used, each time my steak was cooked to perfection. The beach was well maintained and the guys worked hard to clear any seaweed in the morning as some days the sea was a little rough. Yes there were some rocks but unfortunately due to the rough sea the water wasn’t clear for you to see them but they weren’t a lot of them and certainly not sharp (I didn’t have any issue with them). So the reason I gave the hotel 3 stars are. 1. The was not enough lifts for the amount of guests and they were far too small, the queues were ridiculous some days. 2. After 4pm there was no hot water as everyone wanted to shower before dinner. I had 1 hot shower in 10 days. 3. The main issue for me was that at the weekend the hotel was packed with guests from the states who came for the weekend to party! The adult pools became like a human soup and the noise level, shouting, screaming and music was ridiculous. One guest was sick in both the adult swim up bar/pool and these were then closed to the rest of the guests. One young girl was being ill in the bushes when the toilets were 10 feet from her. The noise from several guests went on all night. I’m all for everyone having a good time but this was a family hotel and not a club 18-30 resort. Definitely come back to Jamaica but not to this hotel if they let this happen every weekend. But I want to reiterate that the hotel and staff were fabulous.

Great stay
This resort was amazing, from the cleanliness to the staff serving you. We had a swim up room and it was perfect, wish I had an ocean view but it was ok. Food was really good considering it’s all inclusive. Drinks were great, bartenders suggested drinks for me and they were good. We stayed a week and can’t wait to bring the family back. Glad I have this resort a try. It is about 40 minutes from the airport but a nice scenery.
