Well happy 22nd anniversary to us! NOT! I visited a RIU Palace for the first time a month or two ago in Costa Mujures Mexico and it was fantastic. This is the polar opposite. I tried to not notice the obvious upon arrival to keep the bear from losing her S*&t. She saw what I saw and it didn’t get any better. The pictures says it all. Checked in and checked out within an hour! Delta Vacations assisted in removing us from the disaster in the making.

Feb 24, 2025All inclusive adults only and absolutely lovely
We really enjoyed our visit to the resort. We felt everyone who worked here had an amazing attitude and portrayed an employee who enjoyed their job. The only negatives I can share is that I was unaware that the 24 hour room service was only for upgraded guests and that getting a spot on the beach required getting up at 6:30 am to lay your towel out on a chair. I also had to wait 3.5 hours to get some bottled water delivered to my room when our water was shut off. Overall the restaurants and food were wonderful and we loved the casino.

We had a great time at the RIU Palace Antillas. 1the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is very good at all the restaurants and there's always something to do.

Aruba Stay
The Riu Antilles was a very nice accomadation with beautiful views and very clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient to everything. The buffet and the restaurants were excellent and the proximity to the beach was spot on. Genuinely have nothing bad to say about my experience. Thank You to the Riu Antilles.

Didn’t love my stay at the Riu Antillas. To start, I’m a Riu Class member but was never treated like one. Everyone I spoke to who booked through the app like I did got a free shuttle from the airport and a welcome drink. I received neither. The only good thing about the hotel is the location because the beach is stunning, but the beach is tiny at the adults only side, crowded by mostly empty chairs taken up by selfish guests who put items down early in the morning just to disappear the majority of the day. This is not policed at all. The food is not great, and there is virtually NO room service. Literallly only snacks, not one real meal. I’ve been staying at Riu resorts for almost a decade and I find that they really don’t cater to solo travelers or care much for us. Also, this resort isn’t really a solo traveler crowd. The majority of people are couples in their 50s+ from the American Midwest and south. Also, don’t expect to sleep in at this resort. Loud maids and contractors starting at all hours
