Riu Montego Bay
Great time at this resort. The food was delicious and staff was incredible. The power did go out for about 5 hours one day but it was a great experience.

I came last year and it was brilliant. This year sadly was disappointing and wouldn't come back. Positives first... SOME staff are great and they work incredibly hard. Food very good. Entertainment,.excellent. Now for the negatives... Many staff have major attitude problems and it seems they don't like tourists! Moody faces, no manners and an attitude when you speak to them. The hotel is definitely showing signs of wear in areas - see pictures. Too many staff moaning to guests about the management. We were told daily the management sack people for the slightest things and don't pay overtime, even after staff work their day off, don't know how much is true but we didn't want to hear it daily. Also staff talking and using Jamaican swear words isn't appreciated, they might not think guests understand but we do. Party vibe is fine but some guests were ex rated and staff didn't seem bothered. When I say ex rated, sexuql activity taking place. The negatives definitely outwayed the positives so for this reason won't be coming back to this RIU.

A great stay!
Me and my friend had an amazing time! A big shout out to Leandra who worked in the sports bar who made us feel very welcome and ensured we never not had a drink in our hand. A great resort with brillianr staff. The rooms were clean, spacious and very accomodating. Will certainly return - big love to Leandra and the team!
