This is a great RIU ..new buildings. Rooms are nice. Lots of different foods. Staff is very friendly. Ocean was rough when we went. Pools were nice but lacking places to get shade shortage of umbrellas. We would go back. Shortage of towels. Good drinks. Over all nice place to go.

Here’s my review so far 🙂 The resort is beautiful and very well maintained with the staff ! Very clean! Wow! Good job! 🙃 The beach is beautiful white sands with no sargassum 😎 police with four wheelers travelling all day. Very long stretch to enjoy walks on the beach!! The staff is very nice and the food is good. First time we go to a asiatic restaurant where it’s only a buffet style, not bad but not our favorite. Now my main concern ; lack of security inside the resort and here’s why! There was a female fist fight near the sports bar bathroom! And of course my mom had to be inside the bathroom when it happened, it took a lot of time to broke them off! My mom is still pretty shackened about what happens and I really don’t blame her! We should feel safe going to the bathroom right ?! Also; guests at the resorts are very nice BUT of course there is some that has less manners and respect for people sleeping at night! 1 am - 2 am speaking loud in the hallways and yelling! I do understand it’s fun having drinks and enjoying your time but please BE MORE RESPECTFUL! You don’t owned the resort! And there’s guests trying to enjoy there stay! Security should be more available in those times… Thanks 🙂

Amazing resort
This was our first time to a Riu resort and we were so impressed and pleased and well taken care of. The food was Amazing and there were so many options of things to do and the staff were so inviting ❤️ and friendly and professional.

if you are a beach person you should look at other resorts in this price range. the beach is good just getting there is the problem. from the end of the walk way it is over 1/4 mile in soft sand. they do have waiters on beach bringing drinks problem is most of ice is melted in drinks by the time you get them. food is average for resort in this price range. the resort looks to be clean people are cleaning everything. my biggest complaint is we like to go have a couple cocktails at a sports bar and shoot a couple games pool well they have two nice pool tables but it will cost you $2 per game . we have been traveling over 20 years 2 to 4 times a year to resorts in this price range and riu resorts want nickel and dime me after i am there to play pool. there are to many resorts to choose from for that . we'll not be coming back here again

Fantastic resort! Our favorite in Mexico.
This was our fourth trip to Mexico and second stay in a Riu resort, and this was by far both my wife's and my favorite. The location is beautiful; remote, without being too far from the airport. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. But the best part of all was the pristine beach and pools. One week was not enough!
