    Great Stay at RIU Cancun

    Great place to visit. Nice clean rooms and resort. Friendly staff and attentive to detail. Main bars and minibar in room are stocked with good beverages. I love the entertainment staff and its adults only.

    Wonderful

    We had a terrific time at your resort! While there were a couple of minor annoyances there was nothing that affected our trip! Big shout out to Rebecca and Raul who are part of your Riu Fun team! They did an amazing job both at the pool during activities and in the theater in the evening! Victoria took excellent care of our room! She is the sweetest!

    Exceeded Our Expectations

    This hotel is huge and directly on the beach. It has a Japanese & Italian restaurant, a steakhouse, buffets and a 24/7 sports bar. The swim up bar is awesome with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Every employee was very kind. I can’t wait to go back.

    Disappointing resort - no better than a 3.5* resort

    We just returned from a week at the Hotel Riu Cancun. My wife and I have been to México several times and this would rate as the worst experience. Positives - The pool area has something for everyone and the beach was the best compared to the resorts within walking distance of the Riu Cancun. The staff were fantastic, very attentive and helpful. Negatives - The main hotel building was dated and the bathrooms need to be upgraded. The noise from adjoining rooms and the hallways was very annoying. The dining experience was very poor. From the buffet to the a la carte restaurants the food was no better than a 3-star. Generally this was the main thing that most of the other guests that we spoke to complained about. When you rate yourself as 5 star, you must serve a 5-star dining experience or you will loose repeat customers.

    Great Budget Friendly Option!

    This was a great vacation. The hotel was clean and well laid out. The rooms could benefit from an upgrade, but they are satisfactory for the money. The staff was absolutely amazing. The restaurants were great, and the variety of food was abundant. The entertainment was top notch. I wish they had more recreational beach sport activities but that's just my personal opinion. Overall a good option for a low cost.
