Hotel wasn’t bad but it wasn’t high end. The shower temps were inconsistent, water smelled like sewage, and rooms were small. Beds were firm if you like that, and also they were full size bed. In fact, it was two full size beds pushed together in one room. The food on the resort was very disappointing. It wasn’t bad but it was the most average hotel food that you could get anywhere. That includes their “special” restaurants. The Gourmet restaurant was the best of the ones they had, but we had a 2 hour wait time. The pools also closed really early. The price of the spa was literally so insane I thought I was looking at it wrong, but no, it was over $500 for a 1 hour massage. The pro’s of the resort was the staff. We always had a clean room and fresh towels. Bar tenders were great. Staff in general were nice and helpful. We needed extra housekeeping one late night, and they were very fast and very nice about it. The beach was also clean.

Bacation trip
I have a great time in Cancun. the hotel was terrific clean and well kept, the staff were nice polite and helpful, the food was great, great shows well put it this way it is a 10 overall recommend Riu to everyone.

“Be cautious if you’re staying at the Riu Cancun hotel some of the outside staff maybe connected to the corrupt police and could set you up. This happened to me last week. I stepped out of the hotel for a walk when a police officer stopped me, accusing me of smoking marijuana. I was shocked and denied it, but he wasn’t interested in hearing me out. All he wanted was $500 USD. Soon after, another officer arrived, and they took me to the tourist police station in a patrol car. On the way, they stole

Fun, very active hotel!
