The most amazing stay
The most amazing experience everyone is so welcoming the only hotel I get to know the guest and the staff as friends, the services Moises always so nice bringing our room services, Nelson, Yeicol , jose and Luisa always making sure we have good drinks and Kelvin at the pool making sure the pool experience was the best, I highly recommend to buy the vip you get more and is only a bit. The food here is amazing and the beach is the main reason I came clean crystal waters. I just love so much I extended my stay. I almost forgot the entertainment girls Jasmin, Yaneiris and Franchelly are the most entertaining characters I love the vibes and they made my trip unforgettable.

One of the best experiences of my life!
I can’t say enough good things about Punta Cana Princess Adults Only All Inclusive. It’s not a huge resort, only one pool and five restaurants. It was perfect for me. The staff is exceptional! The entire staff worked so hard to take care of all the guest. Front desk was accommodating and kind. The severs and bartenders were very attentive. My cleaning lady was the best. The entire concierge team was fantastic, especially Miguel. Miguel is the best in the business! I can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you, Punta Cana Princess. I had the time of my life! I will be back!

A Mixed Experience
Pros: Majority of the staff were very friendly. Koodoos go out to Alexander (guest services), bar tenders Emelio, Frederic, waiters/waitresses Elvis, Nancy, Johnathon and several others which unfortunately we don't recall their names. The pool is very nice having two ends where you can just walk in. Beach is a good walking beach and the water was not too rough while we were there for swimming. Having the option of going to the sister resort is a bonus & was very pleasant. A/C in our room worked well. Room was clean. Cons: Water for the shower was inconsistent - only hot about 4 times out of 2 weeks. The lighting in the bathroom was not the best. One of the towel handles was broken. The jet tub for us was wasted space. The toilet area is very small. We are not big people and found that area to be very tight. The mattress on one side had a slope to it so when lying in bed it felt you were rolling in towards the middle crowding out my spouse. The luggage table is not big enough for 2 regular size suitcases and there is room for a bigger bench. The food overall was enough but mediocre. The food in the specialty restaurants (especially the Rio Grande Tex Mex) lacked seasoning/flavour of our food choices. Having to pay extra for 'upper shelf' liguor is annoying and not right. This is an adult only resort - we are all equal. This is purely a money grab on the part of the Hotel chain, owners/organization. Plus this is hard on the bartenders/servers having to say no, its an extra fee, as many people become irritated at them & it's not their fault. Understood that the internet was free in the lobby area only but again in this day & age internet should be free throughout the whole resort. You should be able to get it in your room and not have to go to the lobby. On our second last night there had been a fair bit of rain saturating the grounds in some areas. We were on the ground floor, room 3024. We came back from dinner and my wife stepped down into the little sitting area in our room, slipped & was submerged in 4 inches of water. Having had a total hip replacement only 3 months earlier she feared she may have damaged her hip but she didn't feel any pain there. The pain was coming from her ankle and knee. Staff were immediately notified and had us moved to another ground floor room 20 feet away. Someone was suppose to come to help move our belongings over but no one showed. Also a doctor was to come see us in the morning but we ended up having to go to him and he appeared to not be aware of the incident. Before examining my wife he wanted us to pay $205US. Although we had insurance we refused to pay as this was not our doing but an accident caused from the resort. A call to management at the front lobby and the consultation fee was waived but nothing else was offered. Upon arrival back home a trip to the doctor and hospital for xrays it was determined there were 2 small fractures in the ankle. We are seniors but we are also seasoned travellers having travelled to the DR for 25 years now.

Stay away.. the lure of the low price isn't worth the risk of a terrible experience
To be fair and balanced. The beach is world class. The pool is very nice. The staff is kind and tries to serve you and help you enjoy your stay. The price is very low. The Swiss fondue restaurant is unique to all inclusive and was actually quite good. However, none of this can overcome the awful shortcomings of the aging and awful facility. It's a disaster... spend a little more and go to serenade or another mid level resort. You will be so much happier. What's bad about it? The food is horrific. The buffet recycles leftovers from the day before and microwaves it. Things like rolls that can break a window and crepes that you can't cut with a butter knife are prime examples. The alcohol and ingredients for all food and drinks is the lowest possible quality. It's like school lunch.. feed the most people for the least money. I had fish at Mare Nostrum and it was undercooked and glass. I didn't realize it until after I had eaten half. Not sure if this is what made me sick.. it's possible I have a stomach flu as well.. Now imagine being very sick and stuck in a room with no wifi. A bathroom where the shower doesn't drain and leaves standing water all over the entire room. A toilet that takes at least 3 flushes to even get close to usable again. Then imagine when you have massive intestinal issues and a fever and you want to take a shower and their is no hot water. Of course I reported the problems and maintenance came multiple times but the fixes for the plumbing never lasted more than a few hours. The wifi never worked in the room at all. One last thing. The facebook group for this hotel must be owned by the hotel as I was banned from the group for posting an honest review. If you have super low expectations and a super low budget and just want a great pool and amazing beach.. you still might be happy here. But if you get sick or your room is awful you just won't enjoy your time. It's not worth the risk! We went to serenade and it's a night and day difference for a little extra money.

Excellent vacaciones!!
We loved the hotel! People who worked with us and were just passing by were always kind, hospitable, and ready to help. Miguel from Guest Services assisted us with any questions and requests we had during our stay at Punta Cana Princess. He was always polite and respectful. Between us we called him Mr. Know-All. Thank you! Muchas gracias!!!
