Cold pool or I would rate it higher.

We stayed for 2 weeks and never got in the pool once. The water was too cold!!! I brought my noodle and was planning on paddling around every day. We moved to Villa Del Palmar and the pool is warm. We did get a really nice room and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Suite service was great! The food was pretty good at all the restaurants and service was very good. They need a bus person to clear the dishes and set the table so the waiter can wait on people. People are waiting and the waiter is busy setting up the tables.

    Vanessa at front desk

Enjoyed our stay at the Rose. Vanessa at the front desk made our stay special. We had three rooms booked for family and friends and she was very helpful with the check-in process. Every time we stopped by the front desk for something she had a smile on her face and a warm hello. Amazed over our two weeks stay she always remembered our name and room number. Look forward to our next trip to the Rose and seeing Vanessa again.

    Nice stay

Overall great resort Recommend getting a ground floor room if you have small children - it made is so much easier for us to go to and from the pool Nice entertainment a couple nights during the week With small kids, we preferred the pool at the rose vs the blanco We left some of the kids gently used clothing and toys for the staff in addition to tips and they appreciated it

    Good, but needs updating

Pueblo Bonito Rose is an older property. Prepaid for ground transportation from/to airport and sent my travel itinerary as requested. I learned later that Pueblo Bonito uses a private transport that does not provide pick-ups prior to 9:30 a.m. Pueblo Bonito wanted to force me to pay inflated costs for a taxi to the airport. They would not accommodate for their error. Would not recommend using Pueblo Bonito Rose Ground Transportation. Travelers should also be ready for the overwhelming, annoying and continuous offers to attend the Timeshare presentation. You will be offered meal discounts, credit on your hotel bill, etc. Would be good for them to give you some type of arm band or other device to show everyone you aren't interested in any presentation. Resort service workers did a good job. Be sure to secure your swimming towels the day before you need them and place them on a chair early on the day you want to go to the pool. If you don't put a towel on a lounger, you will have very limited access to a lounger.

    Rose was superb!

Great location...great service..the breakfast buffet is very good. Great hotel by beach and the pool is large with ample space and lounges but you have to get up early to get the prime areas. We stayed on the lower level which was nice and close to pool, beach and restaurants. We had the all inclusive which was nice as we could eat at any of the Sunset restaurants (blanco-next door) and sunset beach which you have to shuttle but ample choices for food. The service from the staff was over the top with drinks, appetizers by pool. We are going back next year to same resort!
