I would like to highlight the amazing team até mexican Restaurant ( mainly from Enrique ), this Restaurant is the best in our oppinion in the resort and Enrique is contributing a Lot to elevate the quality of this Restaurant. Congratulations Enrique

Cardio Kickboxing
My vacation to the Planet Hollywood Costa Rica Resort has been fantastic. The rooms, view, food, and amenities are outstanding. I took a 10 day vacation and wanted to keep up with my weekly kickboxing routine, so I participated in a cardio kickboxing class at the resort gym. Erick, Jorge, and Gaelle were professional and very informative. Erick put me through a really good workout and showed me some things that I could continue to work on to help with my cardio. I highly recommend attending a work out class if you stay here.

Myself and my family have just returned home from a two week holiday at this resort. Overall, we had a great time. Due to the unexpected tropical storm over the two weeks, we spent most of our time in and around the hotel, using the amenities, bars, and restaurants. We met some very nice people, and I want to acknowledge them. These gifted people are an asset to planet hollywood. I would firstly like to give a shout out to all the staff at this resort they're all fabulous and work hard, and this is what makes the hotel a great place to stay. ● I would especially like to thank Marvin (bulter), who welcomed us to the hotel on our first night and checked in with us every day to make sure that we had everything we needed. Marvin, you are a star 🌟🤩. I would also like to shout out for ● Joshua 🫡, who works round the pool, he is fabulous, works really hard, and gave us a great day at the cabana. He is a star 🌟. ●Shout out to Fabian, who works round the pool. Hard working and very polite. ●shout out to Zulieth, who works round star bar , you are fabulous. I enjoyed our conversations , you really made an effort to engage with us. ● and Ana, who works at Gusto's Italian, she works very hard and is very efficient and made sure our order was correct each time we visited. This was very important to us. ● Marrianne, who works the check-in at the restaurant, Tex Mex, and Typenyaki , she was very professional and handled our grumble with grace. ●Erick from the gym, he was fab very friendly, informative and knowledgeable, he always stopped to chat. ●Julio (tui ), you were great, kept us up to date with what was going on with trips, ects, and we all enjoyed our conversations. You are funny and very supportive. ●Finally, all the staff at the fuel coffee bar , they made our mornings, they were very polite and created a nice atmosphere to sit and drink our coffees. We liked the lobby bar, loved the chairs, and the drinks here are the best 👌. I just wish this bar was open later than 10 pm. And that there were more options other than the OT sports bar after 10pm

Honeymoon @ PH CR
As we wrap up our last night honeymooning at PH Costa Rica we have so many good things to say, and also some cons to be aware of before booking! First - Star Class, is only worth the money if you’re looking for a stress free, no planning or scheduling vacay. When it comes to value for your money - I’m not sure we would do it again after seeing the small differences it made. Premium liquor and a quieter pool were great, however most of the activities and games are held at the main pool so definitely something to think about when making a decision! Our personal agent Steven took great care of us, making sure we had reservations each night and updating us every morning on the amenities and activities offered each day! Thank you Steven you were an absolute pleasure :) Bartenders - JEFFREY. At the star class bar was outstanding all week, he remembered our names, likes and dislikes and made a point to mix up some unbelievable drinks we’d never tried before. These drinks were easily 15$USD at home and his creativity didn’t stop from the time we arrived at the pool until days end! Ariel at the Pool Bar was the funniest guy, always serving with a smile and quick to make the endless ‘pink shot’ we all laughed about all week. Gracias Ariel and I will forever call you Harry Potter ! Food- stay away from the steakhouse .. the meal I ordered was not great and my husband had a hard time finishing his. We loved the hibachi experience at the sushi restaurant and our chef Rafa was the absolute best ! He kept us entertained throughout and the meal was delicious. The buffet was consistently good, we didn’t have a bad meal once. Gusto Italian had some great minestrone soup and pizza, however we weren’t fond of the pasta ! The Tex mex restaurant was closed a few days this week so we skipped it and opted for the Mexican night at the buffet that didn’t disappoint We want to specifically thank Jerwin and from SoCal for going the extra mile to show us a true Costa Rican coffee experience. He was so patient teaching us how it’s done :) Also a big big thank you to our server Antonio for making our private honeymoon dinner so perfect ! We took the coffee class with Yeslin and she was so friendly and kept us laughing throughout, I recommend it to any coffee lovers ! At Check in - Kimberly was incredibly helpful in explaining everything and took care of us, even getting us in the room before the 3pm check in time, thank you ! CONS: The vendors at the beach are like vultures, harassing you the second you step onto the beach area. Competing massage companies and tour companies won’t even allow you to walk by without trying to make a buck. It’s frustrating when trying to enjoy a nice morning walk or feed the monkeys on the beach. Even after several ‘no thank yous’ in both English and Spanish, the harassment was daily and we just avoided the area. If you’re looking for ‘tropics’ this is not the resort for you. The volcanic black sand is beautiful and in the mornings during low tide the walks are breathtaking - but this is not a white sand lounge area, and it is rather muddy trying to make it down to beach activities. The Hill … as steep as it is from top to bottom walking it a few times a day can get exhausting and a few times during our stay the carts were so busy we couldn’t wait the 15-20 minutes and braved the stairs. For someone with accessibility issues, I wouldn’t recommend this resort however if you’re ok with a steep hike after a few cocktails you shouldn’t have any issues :) Over all we did enjoy our time here despite the Tropical Stormy weather ! I don’t believe we’ll be back to this resort specifically, but look forward to checking out PH Cancún in the future.

Amazing family vacation, Love Costa Rica
Everyone was so very kind and friendly that we interacted with throughout the week. We traveled with family from ages 12 to 76 and everyone had a fantastic time. The facility was impeccably clean and looked brand new. Our room was beautiful with and amazing view of the bay . We stayed in the second and third floors. The ground are very hilly so they have trams that run frequently or by demand and carry you anywhere you need within facility.We went on several tours including a waterfall hike, sloth waching ,jet ski and Buena vista Adventure. nomadtourcr (tour planner). He is very thorough and has great suggestions. Highly recommend! So happy we came to planet hollywood again and hope to come back on the future!
