What could be paradise
The Good: • Beautiful Atmosphere: The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, making for a visually enjoyable stay. • Great Pool Service: Drinks and food were consistently good, and the sand area was perfect for kids. • Housekeeping (Eventually): Once it kicked in after two nights, the service was good. • Convenient Ferry to Nevis: Easy and seamless transport added to the experience. • Amazing Spa: The highlight of the trip—truly a standout. The Bad: • Slow & Disorganized Dining Service: Breakfast service was particularly poor, with long waits even for water—especially difficult with toddlers. • Communication Issues Among Staff: There seemed to be a disconnect, especially during meal service. • Difficulty Booking Dinner Reservations: Despite the resort not being crowded, securing reservations was unnecessarily challenging. • Unfriendly Staff at Fisherman’s Village: Staff appeared annoyed, and one even took a centerpiece from your child’s hands, which is just rude. • Housekeeping Issues: No service for the first 36 hours despite multiple requests, and specific timing requests were ignored. • Room Upgrade Promised, Then Denied: A frustrating bait-and-switch by management. • Serious Incident at Kid’s Club: Security’s negligence led to your son getting hurt, and the complete lack of follow-up or apology from management was unacceptable. Final Thoughts: While the property and certain amenities (like the spa and pool service) were excellent, the overall experience was tainted by poor service, miscommunication, and a shocking lack of accountability after an injury involving my child. The resort needs major improvements in staff training, guest communication, and customer service follow-up.

An amazing Caribbean sanctuary at Park Hyatt St Kitts
From the moment we arrived, the staff and level of service were exceptional. The property was lush and tropical. Right on the beach with amazing views of the sister isle Nevis. The food during our stay was excellent as well. We dined at the Fishermans Village during this stay. It was a mix of traditional classics and local cuisine. Great flavors and again superior service. Can’t wait to go back later this year.

Don’t waste money coming to this resort!
Do not waste your money here ! Over crowded and over worked staff. No attention to detail. This is not a five star resort at all. Waited anhour to check in and an hour for breakfast. Bathrooms have mold in grout and rooms feel very basic. No bathrobes and the floors are imitation wood in rooms which creak and feel cheap. There are no attendants for the beach. Limited chairs around the pool. The beach is pretty and the staff is kind in that they apologize for the long waits.

An incredible stay at an incredible property
My wife an I were able to enjoy a short trip at this wonderful property in late January, 2025. If you are looking for an incredible property that is more secluded and calm than your typical Caribbean resort, Park Hyatt St. Kitts is the place to go. The property is truly magical with incredible views of Nevis across the bay. It is on a secluded part of the island that, while not far from downtown as St Kitts is not a large island, is truly secluded in its own world. The food and dining options are excellent. We enjoyed breakfast at the Great House each morning and dinner at the Great House and Fishermans one night each. Overall food was excellent and on par with what one would expect at a hotel of this level. Service was very good as well however one must remember that they're still in the Caribbean so I wouldn't call service "speedy" by any means. It is high quality and you can tell the staff truly care to provide a personalized experience by trying to remember each guest and their preference. The resort amenities are great however I will admit that we weren't able to take advantage of much of them during our short visit due to the high winds making the water choppy. I am a Hyatt Globalist and felt the benefits were recognized with an upgraded room and personalized service. We had a unique perspective as right after our trip to the Park Hyatt we took our kids to another much larger Hyatt resort elsewhere in the Caribbean. While that was a very nice property, it was a similar price with a much less personalized/quality experience and all my wife and I kept saying was that we wished we were at the Park Hyatt again. Overall, we LOVED our visit and look forward returning with our 3 kids.
