  Great food, amenities, beach, and staff

  Had an awesome vacation. Food was very good. If you want an a la carte reso that isn't at 9pm get the Family Concierge service as they book it for you before you get there. We didn't have that and had a hard time getting spots at a normal time. We did also just try showing up though and often they had space. The beach was also very nice, great sand and water temperatures, and no seaweed while we were there. Once of the best features was the Kidsdom aka kid care. We didn't think our son (3.5) would be able to go as most hotels have a minimum age of 4. Paradisus had a 1-4 group and he loved it, always asking when he could go back. Gave us little breaks of actual vacation. Big thanks to Yadira, Yessenia, Leticia, and Carlota for being so great there. All the staff in general were very friendly and nice. They appear to have a very good sale on black friday (and likely other shopping holidays) so try and book then if you are going.

  Great resort for young families

  Great time! The pools and play areas were perfect for the kids. Our family pretty much lived at the pirate ship and the aqua zone during the day. We loved getting lunch and drinks at the Celsius bar grill by the pool. Laura and Graciela were the best!

  Not at all 5* and not value for money spent

  This hotel has no business advertising itself as 5* when it's a 3.5* at best! From the point of check-in to literally 2 days later, we were still trying to sort out basic functioning amenities (broken jacuzzi unit, broken A/C unit so that the first night we slept with jackets on!, broken down tvs & remotes in both rooms and the list goes on). Booking dinners for the evenings was an exceptionally difficult and tedious process with very limiting options that left our two families unable to eat together at night. Such a disappointment after we'd essentially spent over 20K between our us. Staff seem unbothered as they're clearly not paid enough to care and the food was decent though nowhere as good as some other places we've stayed in Cancun like the Hard Rock Hotel in the Hotel Zone closer to Cancun centre. All around feels like a waste of money and effort and we wish we'd chosen somewhere else instead. Live and learn.

  Paradisus Playa del Carmen - Great Experience, Incredible Service, High Quality Food, Diverse Offering of Amenities

  We went to Paradisus Playa del Carmen in Nov and the experience was exceptional. All elements of an incredible and memorable vacation are present with this resort. We have been to Paradisus on a number of occasions and they never disappoint. Eduardo Gamboa was our concierge and his service definitely elevated our experience. He went out of his way to take care of us and provided an unmatched quality of service (the Family Concierge service is available at an additional fee but well worth the cost considering what gets included for paying that fee). He sent us updates on resort activities/shows, answered our many questions in timely manner and booked our a la carte reservations exactly as we requested. They offer a wide variety of culinary options (all very high quality) and there was never a wait to get into buffets/restaurants. Our Housekeeper, Wendolyn (Wendy), also went out of her way to accommodate us at every opportunity. Her service was top notch and our room was always in pristine condition whenever we returned from breakfast/lunch. Overall, this is a great resort which sets itself apart through their high standard of service. All resort employees were kind and always went over and above to provide us with whatever we needed. I will continue to go back to Paradisus Playa del Carmen and would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a peaceful/quite resort where they cater to your every need and offer a level of service that differentiates them from their competitors.

  Excelent service.

  Great service. All the people working there are awesome they always make their best to attend you. Very great place to enjoy vacations with family. The aqua zone is the best place for children, they get a lot of fun and the people always are ready and happy to help you in any thing you need.
