Domingo perdomo provide excellent service to my family went beyond. All services were exceptional have been coming here for several years and now have top level membership would recommend this corp to anyone that wants to travel the caribbean

This is my families 2nd time at this Paradisus and 6th time on the Sol Melia DR campus. I am so disappointed to see how this hotel has declined even from when we were here last year. Check in was a disaster, the family concierge staff was rude and one of the staff members was even talking poorly about us to another family while we waited. The supervisor, laughed at us and we need to change rooms mid trip. The food is fine nothing great and drinks are so sugary. We’re here for a few more days and I’m hopeful the staff turns this trip around.

Melia never fails me
Melia has never disappointed us. Another fantastic holiday - this time in Dominican Republic. The rooms are the best I have ever stayed in. Private pool. 2 rooms and a full suite. The food was the stand out to us. A massive thanks go to Wascar (from Machu) who made our evening fabulous. No attention was missed.

Resort overall is a pretty nice property. We liked everything about it. Bartenders and waiters were also great especially the Bartender next to the buffet restaurant and Carlos Alberto who helped us to get a dinner reservation which is impossible to get with your property. The bad experience we had was with our money being stollen from our bag in the room while cleaning or whoever is allowed to come in the room under Room makeup service. We had a $100 bill that was stollen from my wife’s bag with other little bills on the table which I can understand can be mistaken with tip left on the table for cleaning. But going in the purse and checking our luggage is unacceptable for a 5 start resort. You should take accountability of this. I also want to mention that food options are not that great as per the standard. For the first two days out of our 4 days visit we had NO option but to eat from the buffet which is okay and Rubys which is the lowest quality and tasting food. It’s hard to say if we will ever return. We did like the property and amenities it offered and service of bartenders and waiters. If you tip them well they go out of the box to service you. It was appreciated.

Hotel supports excursion scams at the beach.
Resort is nice. They do nothing to curb solicitations from all kinds of excursion scams at the beach. Do not sign up for a snorkel tour from these guys. They tell you they are from the resort, the staff at the hotel agree and they are in a scam together. They bait and switch the boat.
