Apr 21, 2025Beautiful Vacation resort in SXM
I really enjoyed our stay at OBBR. The rooms were beautiful, and we had an ocean view! The amenities were wonderful. I felt so safe and relaxed there. Everyone was so nice and helpful, especially C J. We loved the infinity pool! The restaurants, Infinity and Veranda were wonderful. It’s a great place to stay in SXM.

Great place
Always come here for drinks. We don’t stay here overnight but everyone raves about it. The bar is great and the people are always so nice. Great happy hours and great times. Love at night you dressed up and enjoy the setting sun. Come here with a short skirt and great vibes.

Beautiful trip to OBBR
We just returned from a long weekend trip to St.Maarten and this time stayed at OBBR in room 1114 prime beachfront room smack in the middle. Room was a Loft, spiral staircase leading to the upstairs with 2 twin beds. This was definitely an upgrade for our visit. We had a balcony overlooking the pool, the Caribbean, and the most spectacular view of St. Barths. We had perfectly clear skies, and the visibility was perfect! Room was quiet and enjoyable with a very comfortable king-size bed. The main restaurant was good. We had our first nights dinner there and breakfast at checkout. We tried the Verandah for drinks one evening with dj music playing and was grateful our room wasn't above that place. The beach we enjoyed, a little seaweed closer to the stairs, we went to far end of the beach and no issues. Nella at the main reception desk was super nice, extremely helpful, and very professional! I would absolutely return to this property without hesitation. It's away from the party crowd at Maho. We enjoyed the peaceful feel here. The infinity pool at sunrise yesterday made for beautiful photos. Overall, most of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. No issues whatsoever. More compliments than anything. If you nit pick at everything, look elsewhere. For us, it was wonderful. Age of most guests, 40, 50 plus. A few kids. Thank you for an amazing weekend trip!

I found the resort to be OK. It’s not luxurious, but it’s not horrible. A lot of the staff are very offputting. I think we found about three nice people on staff. Alberto in the Infinity dining room was amazing! So friendly and exactly what you would want coming to the Caribbean. I would’ve rated the place higher if they had all been friendly. The rooms are decent and the beds are fairly comfortable. For the amount of money we spent on a room, I didn’t think it was worth the price. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. We went to some outside restaurants that had better food. The facilities could use a bit of care. They do keep it clean, however. If I were returning to Saint Martin, this is probably not the place I would stay at.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Stayed there for a weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. From making the booking to the actual stay the staff was super helpful and friendly. We had a few friends over Saturday evening which was ok as per hotel policy. Sunday we attended brunch and “Mr. Happy” was our waiter. He was super pleasant and helpful even gave suggestions for omelet choices. Overall it was such a relaxing stay we enjoyed it fully, can’t wait to do it again soon.
